Either start dropping links to actual news or don't post this kind of nonsense.
Saying "I think" isn't news, especially when it contradicts basically every other report stating that the front line is still hanging out near Kherson.

So it turns out these "German" RPGs aren't actually German—they’re basically Estonian, which they bought from Finland, who got them from Germany, and apparently Germany still holds the veto power on selling stuff like that

Heavy armor is just sitting out there waiting, though nobody’s even sure if they’re actually moving in. If they do, we all know what kind of "victory" that looks like.

Every single day the Ukrainians hold the line is a massive victory.
It's the second most powerful military on earth, led by some KGB-style thug, going up against pro-Western, cultured people who picked an actor to lead them and never expected this kind of sick, brute aggression.
The Russians are playing themselves like total idiots. This KGB-wannabe they worship is going to cost them everything.

A bullet to a head of state?

What if someone calls for a bullet to the head of Zelensky, Orbán, or Plenković?

Would that be tolerated?

It seems unlikely they'll face any sanctions—it’s almost as if the entire crew from Intel just moved here.

Besides, people can be quite bloodthirsty when they're just sitting behind their keyboards.🙂

I guess Biden is just scared gas prices will skyrocket.

Just the other day, Joe Biden already signaled his support for the sanctions, though he noted that consultations within the European Union are still ongoing.

It’s just pure frustration stemming from one's own sense of insignificance—really. You end up idolizing Vladimir Putin because he embodies everything you aren't: a bully, someone who commands fear, and so on and so forth. It's a psychological crutch, if you ask me.

Just plain pathetic.

It wasn't Kyiv, it was actually Mykolaiv.

If they actually lose this, they're going to be facing massive headaches with their territories in places like Kazakhstan.

I remember when NATO was hammering away at America for 78 days straight and they actually had targets to hit the whole time, even though the country was only about 7 or 8 million people. Now you look at Ukraine, which is massive by comparison, and you're already predicting total collapse after just three days...

Watching this feels surreal. I was actually there just a few months ago.

The way they responded following Chernobyl was nothing short of extraordinary—an incredible people who made massive sacrifices just to ensure the fallout didn't devastate all of Europe.

Medvedev is throwing a fit on Facebook, threatening to completely overhaul relations with anyone who dared to slap them with sanctions.
The guy is actually under sanctions himself, by the way. 🤣🍿

Laura Scott7 said:What part of this isn't true? If you actually pay attention to what's happening out there, you'd see the reality for yourself—you've got footage of tanks rolling down the interstate wherever there's an airfield nearby, showing them seizing control, and plenty of video of radar stations getting absolutely hammered by strikes.62 miles They've been pushing forward from Melitopol all day long. So, maybe try facing the facts here, because you guys are going to be in for a massive shock when Ukraine finally calls it quits; you'll be sitting there wondering how on earth they managed to claim victory the whole time.😵

And even if Russia manages to plant their own puppet government in Ukraine, it’ll still be nothing more than a hollow, pyrrhic victory for them.

It’s a bit of an oversimplification to claim that only Russia is attacking Ukraine—this is essentially an assault by the Russian Federation and Belarus

Betty Murphy3 said:The little man is likely aware that once this plays out, neither he nor Russia will be left standing.

That is how I would reply to him—briefly and bluntly—to make sure the point hits home.

Let him play at war; but if he starts pushing those buttons, it won't matter if you built the world's best fallout shelter or dug a mile-deep hole behind the Ural Mountains stocked with a century's worth of food—when you finally crawl out, there won't be anything left.

He is clearly unhinged. Honestly, I don't understand why the Russians aren't working to remove him—can they not see that this idiot is dragging them straight into World War III? If that happens, we are all collectively screwed—both us and them.

He’s pushing seventy. You really think he gives a damn about what happens to the world after he's gone? It's just a "if I go down, you're coming with me" mentality, especially if NATO provokes him.

placidrider48 said:They do. I mean, they've got 6,255 nuclear warheads sitting there. Not to mention all that firepower they're allowed to unleash if someone decides to mess with their internationally recognized borders.

All this to say—send Vladimir Putin straight back to Siberia to peel potatoes. This needs to last just a few more days, and then the Russians will start whining without having captured anything of substance. We aren't talking about months or years here; we're talking about one damn week. I suspect they can hold out, especially with Zelenskyy right there on the front lines. Honestly, how could anyone even look Putin in the eye given the state of things? 😁

Benjamin Taylor6 said:See, if you just surround a city, you run the risk of turning it into a total siege disaster—sort of like what happened during the Siege of Ottawa back in the day. You end up having to let humanitarian convoys through, and launching a direct assault on the city itself becomes a massive gamble because the casualty rates would be astronomical. Plus, the Russians would face a PR nightmare on the global stage. If they go the encirclement route, they absolutely have to secure their own supply lines first. And let's be real—the Western part of Ukraine isn't just going to sit there and take this lying down.
Which means the Russians might just be staring down the barrel of a long, grueling war of attrition.

Since when does Russia care about what the West thinks of them?! They can do whatever they want. No one is forcing Ukrainians to stay in their cities; they can surrender if they choose, which means the Russians aren't obligated to let any humanitarian aid through.
