It seems like everyone here is acting like some kind of saintly volunteer, hitting those massive targets like pros.

If you're genuinely considering experimenting with drugs, I'd suggest—just as a precaution—that you really, truly, deeply research the side effects first. Maybe then you can make an informed choice about whether a specific substance is actually worth the risk.
And honestly, just stay far away from heroin in any form whatsoever.

Anyway, good luck, and please try to be smart about this. (And I really mean it: always make sure you have someone with you who knows exactly what you've taken, just in case things go south. Never do this alone.)

Honestly, what is wrong with you people? The guy has the desire and he certainly has the cash, and since his friends are already doing it, why shouldn't he join the club? 🙄
And please, let’s stop trying to scare him with the threat of the police; as far as I am aware, simply having the intention to use drugs isn't even a crime yet. He will have plenty of opportunities to deal with our lovely local law enforcement later on.

Instead of spending this entire thread lecturing him about staying clean, we could actually be useful by providing a list of decent counselors or rehab centers. 😘
