Absolutely stunning!!!! I’m seriously in awe of these pieces. Honestly, I'm still stuck in the middle of a DIY phase, trying to build stuff from scratch for my kids at home.

Hey everyone, this thread is getting massive—I won't try to list everything right now—but does anyone have any experience dealing with Tom or Ann?? Not that I really care that much, since there's always going to be someone out there looking for something to criticize, I guess. I'm mostly just wondering if everything went smoothly, was professional, and followed what was agreed upon?

We had it. Em So, at this wedding, everyone was raving about the food. Honestly, I’m officially making a regular trip to their place just for the desserts now. We even ordered a cake for one of our anniversaries recently—it actually caught fire! Seriously, the thing literally went up in flames. 😁
I highly recommend it!

We ended up serving cakes and a cake from Emma at our party, and man, did the guests love them. We had this raspberry yogurt cake that was just incredible—total hit. They’re seriously such sweet, kind people too... they actually let us try a bunch of different treats for free while we were trying to pick a flavor. They even delivered everything to us about 45 miles outside of Chicago and only charged us for gas and tolls, unlike some places that would've slapped on a $0.67 delivery fee per mile, which would've been way too much. Their cakes are top-tier and honestly don't feel overpriced compared to other bakeries, plus the little pastries are perfect. So yeah, I'm definitely vouching for Emma. 🙂

Can someone, pretty please, give me a hand here? I need to figure out how many cookies I should order for 200 people.
I need enough for the venue, a little bit for my house and my partner's place, plus some extra to take back home.
I'm totally lost on the math—how many ounces per person? Maybe 4 or 5?
And for the takeout containers, what’s a standard serving size? Like 7 or 10 ounces?

You’re definitely on the right track. I was told to plan for about 4 to 6 ounces per person for the actual event, but honestly, it really just depends on how much you want to stash away for later. Personally, I think budgeting for 7 or 8 ounces per person covers all bases. Your best bet is to talk to the bakery where you're ordering—they deal with this all the time and can give you a much more precise estimate based on what you're picking out...

So, we had these 50 little favor boxes—each one was about 10 ounces—to hand out to 103 guests. I actually ended up doubling up for a few people, which worked out perfectly... Honestly, though? I think I inhaled way too many sweets myself during the reception because they were just killer. In total, we put together 29 batches for the dessert table and the party favors, and two of those huge batches turned into three massive platters for the main tables, holding well over two pounds of treats each

We put down a deposit on a pig at Tom and Ann's today 🙂
one less thing to worry about, I guess 😁
