You’re basically stealing the words right out of my mouth. I couldn't agree more.😲 😁

It’s also incredibly aggravating having to run to the restroom constantly. Now that the baby is dropping, I can’t even go for a decent walk without worrying if there's a bathroom nearby. 🤣

Then, some random old lady stops me at the grocery store and asks what I'm carrying. I tell her it's my daughter, and she just stares at me and goes, "Oh, well, so what?" Honestly, I had to fight every urge not to deck her right there in the aisle. ☕

..well..zero tolerance..that’s just how they have to write the rules, I guess, because most people are probably thinking, "hey, if I can have a little bit of wine, then surely nothing bad will happen if I grab a couple of beers too"...so they just go with zero for everything to keep things simple and avoid any headaches..
..my own gynecologist actually told me personally that it's fine to have a little black cherry or blackberry wine every now and then since my blood pressure gets really low..she even said I could have up to a pint of beer a day, though of course, she meant that should always be done after eating a meal..

..honestly though..who can really say who's being unreasonable here? 🤷

It’s honestly a bit frustrating feeling like I'm the only one being labeled with "pregnancy brain." I actually took the time to give a really thorough response to 🤦's post over at 😵 😵

edit: looks like Jeremy Thomas5 is on my side too 😁

Dear John Baker5, that just goes to show how much you care, and that such a thing would never even cross your mind. 🙂

It honestly bugs me that I have to head over to the local clinic now just to pick up some referrals. I already know I’ll be stuck sitting in a tiny, cramped waiting room for at least an hour... 🙄

No, I’m not actually her... just a close friend of hers, currently expecting...
If anyone cares—if not, no big deal! 🙂
Anyway, ladies, just enjoy yourselves. I don't really plan on hanging around this forum much anyway... try not to get too worked up over everything; you're young, so save those nerves for something else!
I just don't get why people are always fighting on these forums... (it's hardly social, is it?).
Basically, when someone actually has some decent insight into these issues or cases involving kids with various struggles... believe me, there's a reason they might be feeling irritated by the reaction... 😢 unfortunately...
Wishing you all the best... and if someone tells you something for your own good and the sake of your babies, at least give it a little thought instead of just brushing it off and claiming you know better than they do... because even on amateur sites like WebMD or similar places where everyone ends up lurking eventually, it says the same thing: stay away from alcohol (and definitely skip the cola)... 🙂

It’s honestly driving me up the wall trying to find long-sleeve bodysuits for a baby boy in size 0-3 months... just for those first few months 👎 but everything I come across is either insanely overpriced (like, $70-$27 for a single bodysuit?! 🤷 ) or the styles are just... not my vibe. I can't find anything in decent neutrals—nothing in white, gray, blue, navy, black, red, beige, cream, or even olive... it's either one or the other 😬

And don't even get me started on the sleepers... those one-piece pajamas aren't any better either... 👎

My due date is April 23rd, so I know for a fact I'll need those long sleeves. It's way too chilly in late April to be dressing a tiny newborn in nothing but short-sleeved onesies 🤷

It honestly bugs me thinking I’m going to end up with all this cheap stuff from overseas for the little one (I’ve already received a few pieces)... especially since it's coming from close family. I always make such an effort to buy high-quality, American-made brands or something locally crafted for babies...

I realize it isn't exactly comfortable to start opening up before you're ready, but I suppose I’m just being selfish—I’d really prefer to get the baby here as soon as possible.

Please don't come for me 🙂

Man, I feel that. I want my little angel here yesterday. 😍
But... let's be real, rushing things isn't exactly great for the baby. They need to develop properly and actually have lungs that work (currently at 32 weeks).
If everything looks good at my checkup next week, I'm getting back out there for those walks.

Once I hit week 35 or 36, if I'm still dilating? I don't care. 😍 I'll be hopping around, taking the stairs, doing whatever it takes... just get my angel here already!

It’s one of those little ironies of life that I’m allergic to fur 🙂
So, I have some rabbits, and one of them just had her babies. I can't even get close to them because my reaction to their hair is pretty intense 🙂
Strangely enough, I don't seem to have much of an issue with cats 🤷

Look, some people are retired and they've gotta kill time somehow...
Some folks are bored out of their minds at work...
And honestly? Some people just love this damn forum...

At the end of the day, everyone's got the right to spend their free time however the hell they want.

Hey everyone... I’m noticing a lot of young ladies in here, isn't that right?
Anyway, don't go stressing yourselves out over things that don't actually matter... just try to enjoy this stage of life while it lasts... 🙂 🙂
I was scrolling through a few pages back—and look, I know we're off-topic—but this mara40 user is actually spot on... I just have to say it... it really gets under my skin too when pregnant women drink...
The latest medical research is pretty clear about zero tolerance for alcohol during pregnancy (not to mention smoking or a mountain of medications)... my sister is an OB-GYN here in the States, and she confirmed that's the absolute truth... (I actually asked her directly). Of course, one single glass probably won't cause a catastrophe, but honestly, why even take the risk? It's not like giving up a few drinks is some impossible feat...
As for anemia, whether you're pregnant or not, it's usually handled with iron, and for pregnant women, you typically add B9 to the mix... personally, I have nothing against red wine—I love it, and sure, it's healthy with all those antioxidants and whatever—but I'm not touching it while pregnant, and I think that's just the smartest move!
Regarding what you said about that woman being rude—well, yeah, she was—but just look at the way people are talking on this thread lately (all the swearing, the insults...) 😢
So, I can tell you that as someone who's pregnant, these kinds of situations are just exhausting... and since you girls are all so young (well, I guess I'm not *that* old either... 🙂)... I suppose you'll pick things up as you go!
It just strikes me as strange that nowadays, especially with younger crowds, there's this sense of being so incredibly enlightened—thinking they can just do whatever they want without a second thought for the consequences...

Last week, I heard someone say to me—it was actually a colleague of my sister-in-law's—"Well, just have a boy next time."🙄
It was the first time I'd ever heard someone say something like that, so I didn't really react in the moment. But after comments like that, you start feeling kind of worthless. You're a woman, too, and when you hear that level of disappointment from another *woman* just because you're having a girl...
It's like they don't realize they were once little girls themselves. You'd think they might take a second to reflect on whether they'd want people talking about them that way back in the day.

Nothing seems to be moving on my end yet. 🤷
I guess I'll find out this Tuesday when I head in for my appointment. If they tell me I've started dilating or if the fetal monitor shows some good contractions, I'll be over the moon. 🤣🤣
But then again, by then I'll be 38 weeks along, so I suppose it wouldn't be much of a surprise if things finally kicked into gear. 😉

It honestly drives me crazy when I log on first thing in the morning only to have the forum tell me you aren't logged in. To make matters worse, I feel like I'm being forced to re-authenticate after every single post or even just while trying to read a thread. 😠
