It honestly drives me crazy. I spent the entire day yesterday tidying up the apartment—mostly just sorting through clothes, which shouldn't have been anything physically taxing—but afterwards, I felt completely wiped out. I was practically immobile because my body felt so incredibly stiff. 😲

Another thing that really got under my skin was when my husband and I spent a good thirty minutes trying to figure out how to squeeze an older child's bed into the bedroom. We eventually had to admit there’s just no way to make it work without making the whole layout look like a complete disaster (and I refuse to live in a room that looks chaotic). So, we gave up on the idea...

If only the previous owner of this place had opted for a three-bedroom unit instead of what they bought, I would have saved myself so much unnecessary stress in my life...

Ugh, I honestly can’t deal with how much these dark, intrusive thoughts about my kid's health are getting under my skin lately. 😢
It’s actually making me frustrated with myself, too—because I know that by dwelling on these worries, I’m just inviting all this unnecessary negativity into our lives.
And then, I guess, I end up spiraling, turning the whole situation into one big narrative about illness just to try and force myself to stop being such an idiot with these constant, pessimistic scenarios. 😢
It’s just... exhausting. I am so ready for this period of anxiety to finally be over.
All I really want is for my child to be healthy and well. 🙂

I’m honestly just sitting here getting frustrated with myself because I can't seem to wrap my head around one specific word. 😁

Edit: Okay, it finally came back to me!

I know I probably don't belong here anymore, but honestly, the crowd on this forum just isn't my vibe anyway.

It drives me absolutely insane how my mother-in-law keeps constantly pushing tea or water whenever it gets hot, acting like the baby is going to die of thirst. I gave birth five days ago and the baby is nursing perfectly fine—everything is totally on track—but I made the call to do exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months. I have told her a thousand times that I’m strictly breastfeeding and that extra tea or water isn't what the baby needs, so why the hell is she sticking her nose where it doesn't belong? She just nods like "okay," but then the second I turn my back, she's right back at it doing her own thing.

And another thing—it pisses me off how obsessed she is with the pacifier. I was actually forced to use it because the baby wouldn't stop crying, and since the baby has such a strong nursing reflex, my nipples were getting absolutely shredded—they were practically bleeding. Things are fine now and we don't need it, but she keeps pushing it on us. I've told her over and over that it's bad for the teeth and can mess with speech development later on.
So yeah, I'm hiding the pacifier.

It also drives me nuts that she's constantly baby-talking the little one.
My husband and I have told her a thousand times to stop, that it's not good, but she just ignores us. Sure, the baby doesn't understand anything yet, but she's going to pick up those habits.
That's exactly why the other grandkids still talk to him the way they do—like he's barely three when he's already five—just because she thinks it's cute when he stays quiet.

Seriously, things like this drive me absolutely crazy.

Oh, and one more thing: it bugs me when she tells me I don't even need to lose weight and that being a few pounds heavier is actually better for me right now. Like, why does she care? Why is she meddling in stuff that has nothing to do with her? If I want to lose those ten pounds so I feel better, I'll do it when I feel like it. She doesn't get to decide that for me.😲

Look, you’ve still got some breathing room before the official deadline hits—so there's absolutely no reason you can't hang out and chill with us here for a while. 🙂
I mean, at the end of the day—and I think we can all agree on this—you just don't see any mother being kicked out for being pregnant. It’s just one of those things, I guess. 🙂 Feel free to vent here—this is your space to let it all out. 🙂

I’m dealing with this too. It’s constant. One minute I can barely move (currently 33 weeks pregnant), and the next, because I can’t stand a messy house, I’ll try something minor like dusting or a quick bathroom wipe-down, and it leaves me feeling like I’ve been doing heavy manual labor all day... I’m left gasping for air, groaning and sighing just to get through it.

And don't even get me started on the eating situation. It’s maddening. I can't eat a full, decent meal without feeling full after just a few bites—to the point where I'm almost nauseous. Which isn't ideal, considering I find myself starving again every two or three hours.

I am still absolutely fuming after being cut off by some idiot who completely ignored right-of-way! We almost ended up in a serious wreck. I was going straight, minding my own business, while this guy coming from the opposite direction decided he just *had* to turn left—which means cutting directly across my path—without a single thought for anyone else on the road. Since I had my windows down, I actually had to hear him as I pulled past him—after I’d already blasted my horn and had to slam on the brakes so hard my tires were practically screaming against the hot asphalt. And then, get this: the jerk actually looks at me with this smug little grin and says, "Hey, you know the blinker actually works, right?" As if! My blinker wasn't even on!

It really frustrates me because I honestly can't remember the last time I actually got a decent night's sleep...
Last night was driving me absolutely insane. I went to bed around 11:30 PM, but then I woke up at 1:00 AM to watch some TV and have some warm milk. Just when I finally crawled back under the covers, he started snoring so loudly,
and I just couldn't wake him up to roll onto his side or anything... I swear I was about to pull my hair out.
Then, at 5:00 AM, I was jolted awake by his alarm and that dog he brought home yesterday.
The poor thing ended up staying over at the neighbor's house... he was whining on the balcony all morning.
So now I am just soooooo tired, and it's way too hot to even think about lying down, let alone falling asleep.
Oh, right. And when I went to the clinic this morning, my sister told me she isn't sure if this was the last time, saying there's a chance I might get stung again. Honestly, I think they can just forget it—I've had enough!!!

Anthony Watson35 said:I married an idiot. I know, sounds harsh, but honestly? What else am I supposed to call him?
Like, why on earth would I need a baby bathtub? It’s totally useless because he thinks it's perfectly fine for Domagoj to give Marina their little girl a bath in the big tub—where he basically holds her with one hand (!!!😲!!!) while rinsing her with the shower head (🤦) (she's barely three months old, btw)
Seriously, what am I even supposed to say to him at this point...
He spends all day talking shop with his "genius" buddies and relatives, yet somehow manages to never actually listen to a single smart thing anyone says. It's exhausting 🙄

Just tell him straight: since your bones won't be back in place until long after the umbilical cord falls off, you won't be able to bend over to bathe the baby in the big tub, so he should handle it. And since he plans on doing it every single day, he can also expect to scrub out the tub every night before bath time—because why would you do that? You want the specialized tub. Simple. I'm curious to see what color tub he ends up picking.🥳

But look, you don't really know until you try it... We didn't even bother with a specific baby tub. My husband was in charge of bath time for the first year, which gave me those precious 15 minutes of peace in the evening while they were just playing around in the bathroom. He didn't do it every single day, and we certainly didn't spend our time scrubbing the tub before every use, and honestly, it worked out just fine for us.

Peeing. Along with incontinence. 😠

God, I can't go anywhere for even twenty minutes without a bathroom within arm's reach.

edit: and my husband 😠

The whole damn day we talk about hitting the beach in the afternoon, and he gets sucked into playing around with some software (he's a programmer), and he just won't move... at first I thought it was work, but no, he's doing it for his own soul... and the WHOLE DAMN DAY, since this morning, he's just been hunched over that screen; doesn't eat, doesn't drink...
...I made lunch, ate, washed the windows, ran the laundry, hung everything out to dry, worked myself to death in the process, cleaned the room, did the dishes (from yesterday—he was supposed to do them 😠)...
...at 4:00 I ask him if we're going to the beach, and he snaps at me saying he already told me he didn't want to get out in the sun too early (referring to our chat this morning when we said we wouldn't leave before 2)...
...now I've finally forced him to eat lunch, and suddenly he's looking around like an idiot asking if we can at least go to the beach for a little bit. I tell him, no, it's too late. By the time we pack up, get ready, drive thirty minutes... we won't be on the sand until 6:00, and we'll be heading back around 7:00; it's pointless.
And he responds: "By the time you finished all that talking, we could have been at the beach half an hour ago!"

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA you moron!!!!!!!! WE COULDN'T!!!!!!! Because you spent the last eight hours staring at a damn computer!!!!!!!!! And you only remembered I existed five minutes ago!!!!!!! And when I asked you an hour ago if we were leaving, you barked at me that it was too early!!!!! Go to hell, plug yourself into a USB port and enjoy it, go ahead and jerk off to pleasure, since that stupid computer in the damp kitchen is such better company than me at the beach! 🙂🙂

a) It honestly drives me crazy how everyone feels entitled to touch my pregnancy bump.
b) I’m so tired of hearing the exact same questions no matter where I go.
c) It bugs me that instead of using my name, my neighbor just calls me "the pregnant lady," and my friend's mom calls me "fat."
d) The unsolicited advice from people I don't even know is just too much.
e) Every time I'm out with my godmother, who's also expecting, we end up stuck in this loop of measuring ourselves to see whose belly is bigger.

Aside from that, I'm totally fine with everything else. 😁
26 weeks🙂

Rebecca Vaughn7, I have to say, your post really got under my skin too...
Well, we actually got into a bit of a spat while we were looking for a 24-hour CVS to pick up some medicine...
I was trying my best to explain where the pharmacy was, but nope...
He’s just way too stubborn to listen to anyone and drives like a complete maniac; he really worked me up,
and since I've been feeling so on edge lately, I really don't need someone making things even more stressful.
Plus, he's incredibly high-strung himself and we just can't seem to find common ground.
It was the same thing yesterday; I was actually thinking about suggesting we take a break from each other halfway through the drive home,
because I knew if we didn't, we'd end up in a huge fight, but thankfully we didn't,
though I guess you might know (or probably do) that feeling,
where it feels like you're constantly fueling a fire but can't quite let it out,
and you're walking on eggshells trying not to raise your voice, even though you're just so frustrated...
That’s exactly how we were yesterday, and we almost lost it, but miraculously we stayed calm, mostly just because I decided to keep quiet...
😠😠😠

I have to admit, this little one is starting to get under my skin just a bit—mostly because they aren't moving nearly enough! Come on now, little one, time to wake up!

Oh my goodness, what should I do? Someone once suggested that drinking ice-cold water might help wake me up, but I guess I haven't actually tried that yet! 🤷

Last night, my little one was driving me absolutely crazy—and they haven't even made their big debut yet. It was one of those frustrating moments where it felt like there wasn't a single movement in sight, no matter what I tried. I was practically begging my husband to step in and give my belly a good shake or a firm pat; well, as soon as he actually did that and stepped back, the baby finally decided to stir. It wasn't exactly a marathon, mind you—just a tiny little nudge—but it was definitely something.
Thankfully, things seem to be moving a bit more regularly now. It’s still just subtle little flutters, but hey, movement is movement. Honestly, after how quiet everything was last night, I was already half-prepared to make a frantic midnight trip to the ER.

..but don't you worry too much, because I think they're just feeling the heat, too! I've noticed that mine only seems to start moving once things cool down and I finally stop being so overheated and frazzled myself... though, if you try using cold water to cool off, I usually get the same old unresponsive answer from them... 🙂
