It honestly drove me insane how everyone suddenly thought they had to talk to me exclusively about kids, pregnancy, motherhood, gear, and all that other stuff... I was just sitting there like, WTF? Give me a break, people—yeah, we’re having a baby, but I’m still the same person! I still care about the exact same things I did before...

I even started getting those Baby magazines in the mail... as if I’d actually want to read them, when I don't even touch magazines normally—especially not some garbage offering "tips on sex after childbirth" or "how to emotionally bond with your baby"🙄

And who else gets worked up by the question—did it actually come back to life? 🙂

Not really anyone, 😁
I guess we were all just a bit hyper about it. 😁
Just kidding, it definitely got under my skin before, but the baby has been fine from day one. 🙄

true, but somehow when my 87-year-old grandmother asks me about it, I can't even find it in me to blame her. But young people today...🙂

I can't stand people who look at me and go, "Oh wow, you haven't even gained weight—you just have a bump! You’ll probably pack on the pounds soon enough, though." 🙄 Seriously? It’s not like I’m going to be pregnant for another year! Then again, if I actually admit I’ve put on 30 pounds already, I get hit with, "Whoa, that's a lot; maybe you should watch what you eat." Honestly, pick a side. Besides, let’s be real—I’m naturally thin, and my arms, legs, and backside aren't suddenly going to change because of this; that’s just how I'm built. Even if I gained another 50 pounds, it would all just settle in my stomach and chest. People, please—just move on.☕

Oh, please, let the jealous types talk... I honestly feel pretty sexy right now 🥳
But she just had to grab me by the hips to check out "how much extra weight I've put on"
What else is there to say??
I even made sure to mention how the lady at Starbucks told me what a gorgeous pregnant woman I am—of course, she was totally speechless 😍

Honestly, until recently, I was feeling pretty frustrated about this too—like, what kind of pregnant woman am I if I haven't already put on 100 pounds? 🙄

I mean, seriously, I’ve been thin my entire life, so what was I actually expected to do, suddenly turn into a construction vehicle? People act so surprised when I tell them I've gained 15 pounds. 🙄

But let's be real, most of that weight went straight to my belly, a little bit to my hips, and quite a bit to my chest. 😍😁

It’s not like my arms and legs need to get thicker just because I'm pregnant.

I’ve been waiting for someone to finally open this thread. Honestly, the constant crying is driving me absolutely insane. I just can't help myself; I’m sobbing over every little thing. It was exactly like this during my first pregnancy, too. I remember one time I tried to tell my mom about this heartwarming email I’d received—something sweet about babies and mothers—but I couldn't even get through the story. Like a complete idiot, I just started weeping mid-sentence, over and over again, until I eventually just gave up and sent her the actual email. This time around, it feels even more intense. I’ve reached the point where even a random commercial on TV can trigger a meltdown. At this rate, I’m starting to worry my IQ has dropped somewhere below room temperature.🙂

..Well, I was constantly whimpering too, though it was only during those first three months—I suppose we're all just being hijacked by some sort of pregnancy hormone surge! Mickey Mouse 🙂

The worst part is that I’ve actually started yelling it myself: "Just let them be born healthy and strong, please God help us." It honestly makes me want to bash my own head in sometimes. 🙂
It just shows how much older generations can mess with your mental state... 🙂

Jamie Wilson76—I’m right there with you. 🙂
Honestly, after this entire week, I finally managed to get some actual sleep last night.

Ugh, I feel so bad for you ladies.😢
Personally, I am sleeping better than I ever have in my life, though I sometimes feel a flicker of anxiety that if I drift off too deeply, I might actually miss the baby crying.

So, I’m at the checkout at Target today—guy in front of me has a massive cart overflowing with stuff. I’m just standing there holding one single item, right? I ask him if he could maybe slide it ahead of his pile... and he looks me dead in the eye and goes, "If you absolutely must." 🙂🙂

Haha, you really had to go there, didn't you?😁 I’ll never forget this one guy at a hospital in Chicago. There we were—about ten pregnant women, most of us pretty far along—just waiting our turn, when this guy comes barreling through the hallway like he’s running a sprint, desperate to grab something for his wife.😂 I mean, seriously, who would have guessed? Right there in front of the labor and delivery ward. Honestly, as he was leaving, he just slunk past with his head down... I think he finally realized how ridiculous he looked...

I truly believe that we are standing on the precipice of such a monumental shift in how we perceive our daily connections... it's almost overwhelming when you stop to consider the sheer scale of what's coming next! Charles Moore49 says:
It really gets under my skin... brother-in-law...🙂 Honestly, he was getting under my skin even before I was pregnant... 🙂 She’s honestly better than ten mothers-in-law combined...

So, what exactly constitutes "tomoguce" anyway...?😂 What on earth is he up to now...?

Tell me about it. She’s got zero shame and absolutely no concept of when to shut up, even when she’s totally overstepping. When she found out about this pregnancy, all she had to say was "Congrats!" followed by, "Well, let's hope it's a healthy boy."
Like, hello?! I already have two boys at home! Do I really need to spell it out for her?🙂

My deadline is just three days away, and I can't deal with what's happening. Since last week, people have been calling me constantly, blowing up my phone with texts, or even posting on my Facebook wall. It’s getting to the point where I’m questioning my own sanity.

I honestly don't have the energy or the patience left to answer the phone when it rings. I really don't.

I'm certain that's what he's thinking—he's just far too polite to actually say it out loud. 🤣

Kitty is the reason I don't get too close to anyone on Facebook; only a handful of people actually know my due date. Most people just have a vague idea, so I'm crossing my fingers that I can dodge those unsolicited comments and phone calls. 🙄

As for me—some woman (she's an acquaintance of my partner's godfather, really more of a casual contact than a friend) drove me absolutely insane today. She slid into my DMs with a blunt "Are you huge yet?" 🙄 Seriously—couldn't you just ask "How are you doing?"
(And the worst part? I'm not even that "huge" yet—she knows that because I posted some bump photos on Facebook recently). Just awful.
