Megan Moore2 said:Honestly, my biggest grievance right now is just how constantly hungry I am! 🙂 And the worst part? Nothing actually sounds good to eat anymore. Everything tastes bland, and it’s becoming a rare occurrence where I actually find something genuinely delicious.

Yeah, and also 😬
It’s not even that I’m always hungry, it’s more like I’ve become incredibly picky. I end up eating total junk instead of anything healthy or fresh.🙄

"Oh my goodness, you've clearly lost your marbles..."

As if I didn't already know that without needing all your commentary... (not that anyone actually talked me into showing off my midriff, by the way)

It’s not even the fact that nobody lets pregnant women cut ahead that gets under my skin—it’s when some random person decides to jump right in front of me, acting like my bump isn't even there or, even worse, assuming I’m just out of shape... honestly, it happened again today at the Post Office and then at the grocery store, so yeah, I am officially beyond annoyed.

Why didn't you just say something to her face?
If someone acts like that, I’m being incredibly rude right back.
I’m still a little pregnant, so I don't expect everyone to be hyper-aware of my bump, but this one lady just shoved her way ahead of all us pregnant women waiting for delivery... just totally shameless about it. Ugh, I lost it...
The whole Target aisle heard me. Naturally, everyone else in line jumped in to back me up—pregnant women definitely get priority!

Is it just me, or does everyone smell weird lately? 😕
I don’t mean people who actually stink or haven't showered; I'm talking about that "natural" skin scent. It’s honestly overwhelming. I just finished seeing off some guests and now I’m airing out my apartment like a pack of wet dogs just stormed through the living room. 🙂
I am counting down the days until my second trimester hits and my sense of smell finally returns to normal!

That was my life during my first pregnancy. Honestly, I can't remember a single time I actually got priority anywhere, from the hospital to the DMV. I remember feeling so miserable because I had to take it easy during those last three months—it was summer, the heat was brutal, and having to run errands in person was pure torture.

I was wearing a baggy shirt, so my bump wasn't even that obvious, which is probably why I stayed calm. But the cashier definitely knew I was pregnant—she saw me roll my eyes when she rang up that person who cut in front of me without saying a single word about it... Honestly, it's almost worse when the employees see a pregnant woman and still let someone jump the line...

Honestly, people can be so incredibly rude sometimes... I make it a point to never cut in line, except maybe at the DMV or when I'm waiting for a doctor's appointment.

I’ve seriously never had anyone try to push past me in a grocery store, and trust me, I’m a pretty big woman, so people definitely notice me...

The only time I feel like I get any special treatment is when I'm visiting the local farmers' market vendors, because they always seem to give me a little extra of everything and let me pick out the very best produce...😬

So, I’m heading down to the unemployment office tomorrow—and honestly, I'm half-tempted to wear my tightest shirt just to see if they'll even let me through the door. Not that I actually think it'll work, though... I've got a pretty good feeling they're just going to give me that look and tell me to move along. Typical.

Don't bother waiting for anyone to step up, because nobody in this country shows any respect anymore—not to seniors, not to pregnant women, and definitely not to moms with little kids.

If you want to cut the line, just claim you're pregnant and can barely stand, blah blah blah... and make sure to say it loud enough so everyone else hears you! 😉

And just to stay on topic, it drives me crazy when people act like pregnancy nausea is some kind of myth. It’s real, it's brutal, and it's absolutely exhausting! 🙂

It honestly drives me crazy how everyone thinks they have me all figured out—like they just know exactly what I need, when I’m hungry, when I’m thirsty, or when I’m feeling wiped out. Lately, I've just started tuning out those comments that start with stuff like, "I bet you're starving" or "You probably need some water"... 🙂

Since we’re talking about entitlement, I was standing in line at Target the other day—exhausted, carrying a five-year-old who was basically running circles around me—when this elderly gentleman suddenly swoops in. He asks if he can just cut ahead because he "only has a couple of things." Fine, I thought, I'll be the bigger person and let his little girl go first. But then, wouldn't you know it? Not even thirty seconds later, some thirty-something guy decides he's also entitled to skip the queue because he's "just grabbing these sponges." I told him straight up: absolutely not. Honestly, they might as well just let the entire line go before them at this rate.
ok, look, my cart was full, but I am absolutely wiped out and I wasn't even asking for any special treatment, let alone cutting in line. Seriously, some people have zero shame, it's unreal.🤷

Hey there, how’ve you been doing? And seriously, how much weight have you put on lately?

Does that even matter?

Because honestly, I don't give a damn what anyone thinks about my body...

I honestly hate how I’ve already started feeling like a broken record. Every single time I step out of my house, I end up answering the same five mindless questions on loop—like, "How much longer?", "Almost there?", "When’s the big day?", "What else are you working on?", or even the annoying "Why aren't you on medical leave?" (and thank God, because once my maternity leave kicks in today, I am officially done listening to any of this). Then there's the inevitable, "Is it a girl?" (even though my first was a boy), followed by "What does your older kid think about all this?" Aaaaaaaagh...
I get it, really. People just run out of things to say, so they default to these repetitive scripts. It’s like their specific version of small talk for pregnant women, while everyone else gets to chat about the weather. But when I absolutely despise these kinds of superficial, polite pleasantries, it just drives me up the wall...
The other day, some total stranger—someone I barely recognize from around the neighborhood—actually had the audacity to reach out and touch my stomach in a Target aisle. A complete disaster...
And I already know what happens once the baby arrives: the interrogation begins. "Are you breastfeeding?", "Do you have enough milk?", "Is the baby sleeping through the night?"...
Maybe the problem is just me. Maybe I’m just a bit of a misanthrope.🤷

It’s like I wrote this myself lol 🤣
It honestly feels like they only have two scripts prepared: one for the first trimester and one for later on. People drive me crazy with the exact same questions, like they're reading from a manual. Now that I'm in my second trimester, I get hit with things like: Has your bump popped yet? (followed by them staring intensely or even trying to touch you), Are you feeling okay? (I mean, I'm pregnant, not dying), Are you dealing with morning sickness, Is it a boy or a girl, What does your husband think? (like, what am I supposed to say??!) etc., etc...
Anyway, I guess I wonder if the problem really is me 😬

I’m actually getting a little frustrated with myself because I’m not even two months along yet, and I’ve already put on two pounds! 😲 Usually, you're supposed to lose weight during the first trimester because of the nausea... but that's my problem. Even though I feel nauseous, I can't seem to stop snacking just to keep from throwing up constantly. And look where that's getting me. Now I'm just hungry all the time! 🙂

It doesn't bother me when an older guy or some senior citizen cuts in front of me. No matter how much we’re struggling, I know their situation is way harder. What is someone in their 80s supposed to do when they can barely breathe, let alone stand there for ages? I always prioritize the elderly over pregnant women, and that includes my own pregnancy right now. I’ll keep giving up my seat to seniors for as long as I possibly can. If it becomes physically impossible later in my pregnancy, well, then it is what it is. But I'm hoping for a smooth enough term where that won't be an issue.

What actually gets under my skin? Candida. Dealing with this constant yeast infection is one thing, but during pregnancy, it’s nerve-wracking. Every time I feel that stinging sensation, I start panicking that it might be something more serious, so I end up getting a urine culture done constantly.

The thing that bugs me most is waking up in the morning and being unable to give myself a decent stretch—my arms are stuck up high, my legs are pinned down, and I just can't get one big, satisfying stretch in...😁

I used to be so polite about waiting my turn for everything—even back when I was at the hospital for checkups where the rest of the staff weren't pregnant. But now that I'm past 30 weeks, I don't really care anymore; I just hop off the bus, cut right in line, and tell them, "It’s hard for me to stand, I'm pregnant," and squeeze my way in. They always let me through, even though about 85% of the people there are absolutely fuming. I just pretend I have no idea why they're mad—partly to cover up how much I used to hold back before...🙂
The filing is excellent, highly recommend!

Only five days left until my due date, and my belly is basically a meter ahead of me... yet nobody seems to notice.
I was at the Post Office yesterday waiting for fifteen minutes—everyone can clearly see me, but they just look right through me...
There’s this massive sign, bigger than I am lol, stating that people with disabilities and pregnant women get priority. 😢
Oops, what can I even say?
