Mood swings are hitting hard—one minute I'm laughing hysterically, the next I'm sobbing uncontrollably...
For instance, the other night I was cracking up, showing my husband a nursing bra and laughing at how awkward everything looked, but ten minutes later I was a total wreck, convinced he doesn't love me because of my stretch marks and how much weight I've gained. 😕
And I’m sure it’s driving him crazy too...

Plus, the swelling in my hands and feet is absolutely brutal!!

I feel like I might just be getting on my own nerves today... honestly, I’ve just been feeling so tearful lately, and it feels like my hormones are completely running the show. I’m acting nothing like my usual self, and my mind keeps racing through all sorts of different thoughts. It’s also like I have this bottomless pit for a stomach where I’m constantly hungry—kind of like a little piglet, I guess... grrrr. I think I’m mostly just frustrating myself because I’ve started overanalyzing certain people, situations, and everything that’s been happening around me. Naturally, I ended up finding plenty of things that make me feel angry or just plain sad. I really wish I could just stop thinking about it all, put some music on, and force a smile... but I just can't seem to make it happen right now...

It actually bugs me having to read your post and seeing you talk about feeling like a bottomless pit and being so hungry. It immediately made me jump up to grab some Hershey's chocolate, even though I know it's going to give me terrible heartburn and make me feel sick. And honestly? It's frustrating because there was one day where I totally overdid it on those snack cakes and spent the whole day feeling nauseous and unable to eat anything properly. My schedule is just completely out of whack lately...😢

Insomnia and nightmares... I woke up around 4:00 AM last night completely drenched in sweat,
I had this terrifying dream and was just so scared that I couldn't get back to sleep at all,
and honestly, I seem to wake up at the same time every single night and just can't drift off again,
I can't find a comfortable position to sleep in, so I'm just incredibly exhausted because of it,
I feel like crying all the time and maybe it feels like the end of the world every day... that's all for now...

I've been dreaming non-stop ever since I got pregnant! Mostly just random nonsense...but lately, the dreams have been getting super sexual 🙈
looks like my entire sex life is on hold until I'm done with the maternity leave phase! 🤣

oh man, yeah—last night I dreamed I was pregnant AND part of some organized crime syndicate... there were multiple gangs, the FBI, high-speed chases, undercover operations, double agents... eventually, I just surrendered to the authorities voluntarily because, well, since I'm pregnant, it’s probably safest for the baby if I just turn myself in... god, my nighttime life is so much more thrilling than my actual daytime existence😂👍

and as for the hormones and being overly sensitive... honestly, nothing trivial has made me cry yet, but the other day my partner was telling me about this girl he'd been messaging online—how sweet she was, how they basically fell in love without ever meeting, and then he sent her a photo, but she just wouldn't send one back—not that she didn't want to, she was just too shy, but finally she did, and turns out she was... well, let's just say she wasn't his type, and he couldn't bring himself to keep talking to her. She kept messaging him asking, "Is it because of the picture? It's not my fault I look like this, you could have just told me that was the issue..." and he was like, "She was so kind and I felt so bad, but I really couldn't go on..." and I actually found myself tearing up over such a tragic little story about this poor, sweet girl... even now, thinking about it, I'm getting all misty-eyed😢

I mean, I’m dreaming every single night. Sometimes it’s sex, sometimes it’s some crazy action movie type of stuff, then suddenly I'm looking at ultrasounds and baby stuff... honestly, it's pretty entertaining once you get into it. At least I haven't dealt with any nightmares or anything weird like that yet.

So, my dad handed me some maternity overalls yesterday... 🙈
There is zero chance I'm fitting into them... 🙄
And of course, I started tearing up, and everyone’s just like, "Oh, well, what can you do? You're pregnant!" ... so I just walked off to go scarf down some leftover pasta from lunch.. honestly, I don't even care anymore... ☕

I swear to god, that bra situation! I actually choked on my drink when I read that 🤣

And wouldn't you know it—that was the exact day the local street fair happened to be open... right when I finally dragged myself back from downtown with that damn bra in hand 😬

Honestly, Ginić is driving me absolutely insane lately because he gets so incredibly moody over the smallest things... like, he keeps trying to charge me for ultrasounds $33, which just makes zero sense to me. I mean, okay, maybe I don't strictly need them since I see a specialist privately too, but what if I didn't have that option? If I didn't, I’d basically be paying for three separate ten-second scans just so he can "check if the baby's heart is beating," and that's it 👎. It’s mostly because I refuse to pay him out of pure principle—not that I’m short on $33, but why would I throw away $33 when I’m entitled to free ultrasounds through my insurance? Every single time, I tell him to just write me a referral for the Mayo Clinic, which is literally his job to do, but he just rolls his eyes at me. He acts all offended by the idea of me going to the Mayo Clinic, saying stuff like, "Just let me take a quick look so I don't have to charge you," like he's doing me some huge favor 🙄
.
And then there's the thing where I have to explain that I'm not *just* going to the Mayo Clinic, but that I actually go to my private doctor too... 🤣🤣 you know... it's just... well, not 🤣. He still writes my referrals for swabs and prescriptions and all that stuff, and since using a prescription from a private clinic at a place like CVS would cost a fortune, saving money that way gives me enough leverage to go and pester him once a month 🥳

I honestly just need to come on here and vent for a second because I am absolutely losing my mind... I’m currently 40 weeks plus 3
. So, I went in for a checkup today, but during my last appointment on Monday, they told me to come back in two days. However, the nurse accidentally logged the date as December 2nd in the system, and since she didn't even bother to correct herself or say anything, I just assumed she meant what she wrote down in my prenatal paperwork, so I showed up today thinking I was good to go.
I roll up to the clinic at 8:30 AM, look at the reception desk, and realize there isn't a single pregnant woman in sight. I ask the nurses, and sure enough, my gut feeling was right—I was actually supposed to be there yesterday. Like, seriously, what am I even supposed to do with that? They start calling doctors over before I've even settled in, and I drove in from another city just for this, but my husband has to get to work this afternoon and he can't just sit around waiting until noon... I ended up waiting forever anyway, but whatever, I just care about him getting to his job on time... Anyway, this younger doctor comes out to see me, everything seems fine, and since I had a referral for a Kraft Heinz ultrasound, we head into the imaging room. But as soon as we walk in, there's a nurse and another doctor who starts snapping at me like I'm some kind of intruder cutting the line! And get this—it was the actual doctor who called me in right in front of them! They basically started yelling at me, asking if I even realized they had every right to turn me away entirely. I was so stunned, I almost just turned around and walked out right then and there. I was so close to breaking down and crying, but I wasn't about to give them the satisfaction, you know? So I stayed, the doctor finished my exam, and once we walked out, he stayed behind to probably chew them out, but man, that was so upsetting... I won't name names, but I am just completely disillusioned with the whole experience 👎 not to mention how much I ended up sobbing in the car on the drive home 😢

just tell him you're going to Mount Sinai! 🙂 maybe that won't bruise his ego as much! 🤣

I actually have a routine checkup this Wednesday, and since I had an ultrasound at Mount Sinai back on November 18th (also a routine one my doctor sent me for), I've got a feeling my OB isn't going to do any ultrasounds... and that really gets under my skin. Honestly, I'd have them do an ultrasound every single day just so I could look at the baby a little more... 🙂

Oh my god... you know what? Maybe you *should* name names so you can actually process it! And don't do it here, do it somewhere "more public"... It reminds me of something I read here recently about some girl who showed up with contractions and the doctor basically told her, "Ugh, as if I care about some first-timer who doesn't know anything, especially in the middle of the night." 😠😠
That is just shameful!!

I mean, what can I even say? Honestly, I’m just sitting here feeling completely blindsided by all this. It wasn't like I just woke up one morning and decided to go rogue or anything, or like I had some sudden, impulsive urge to go out and start making Kraft Heinz products on a whim. 🙄 I honestly just want to get this whole thing over with as fast as humanly possible so I can finally pack up, head home with my baby, and never have to look at another soul in that place ever again. Is that too much to ask? 😳 Look, I’m talking about the Mayo Clinic here, and honestly, I have to give props where it’s due because some of the doctors and nurses there are actually decent people—usually, they're pretty alright—but the specific crew I dealt with today? Absolutely pathetic. 👎

It’s honestly pathetic that we basically have to gamble on which shift we’ll end up in when labor starts! Like, back at my old job, you’d get fired on the spot if you were being rude to people! Why is it different with hospitals?! They can go screw themselves—WE pay their salaries! They should be treating everyone like royalty and pampering us like little kids, not taking their frustrations out on us because they messed up somewhere else!
I still remember when I brought some fancy bottles of wine for the nurses while my mom was in the hospital... 🙄 Up until that moment, they were acting like total bitches to her, but as soon as they saw the gifts, they were treating her like she was the damn Pope. Seriously, gross!

So I walk into Walmart today, right? They’ve got those priority lanes for pregnant women and people with disabilities. Naturally, there are ten people standing in front of me. 🙄 Look, I’m not about to start shoving my way through the crowd—I’m not that kind of idiot—so I just stand there. This woman in front of me clearly notices both me and my bump, but she goes into full-on ignore mode. 🙄 Then, out of nowhere, she turns around and asks, "Are you behind me?" I’m standing there all confused, like, "Yeah..." thinking maybe she’ll let me cut ahead since she saw the sign for General Electric above the register, but instead she goes, "Could you please watch my cart? I just need to grab one more thing." 😲
Honestly, I didn't know whether to burst out laughing or just lose it on her. 😲
The blessed North America, man. 🙄

Next time, head straight to the checkout counter! 🥳

Maybe someone would actually move out of your way if you weren't busy having a baby right there!

Man, I am seriously losing my mind today because my little one is just sleeping. This morning she was practically doing gymnastics in my stomach, and now all afternoon it’s just these tiny little flutters here and there!!! Nothing else! But over the last few days? It’s been like having a freaking trampoline in my gut! 😠
I honestly wish she’d just keep jumping constantly!! Forget about sleep... she can sleep once she’s actually born... ☕At least I'm hoping... 😬
