I swear, it’s always the tiny, freak injuries that end up being the biggest setbacks. You're having a decent run and then one weird bounce or a clumsy moment in training completely derails your season. Anyone else feel like minor physical setbacks are actually more frustrating than the major stuff?
I’m starting a new thread here because my mom was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis, and I’m looking for some guidance! Does anyone have recommendations for top-tier orthopedic specialists in the US who really know their stuff in this field? Unfortunately, it looks like she’s going to need a total hip replacement. I would also love to hear from anyone who has gone through the surgery themselves—please share your experiences regarding the prep work and how the recovery process went afterward!
Does anyone have any experience getting lab results back from Rockefeller University? I dropped off my swabs there on March 21st, and they told me everything would be sent via mail in about two weeks, but it’s been five weeks now! Honestly, I am just so frustrated because I desperately need those results and I can't find them anywhere. It feels like they are being so unprofessional, and I feel pretty silly for thinking it would be easier to have them mailed to me; since I have a newborn at home, everything is a bit more hectic, and I'm just crossing my fingers that the paperwork didn't get lost in the shuffle somewhere along the way.
