I have to say, I'm totally loving rustygardener172's nose. The doctor absolutely nailed it—looks incredible!!! Thanks for sharing the pics, dear. 🙂

Rachel Anderson, it’s pretty hard to judge based on one tiny little photo where we can't even see your full face. You don't have some massive hump or anything, right? What exactly is bothering you about it?
As for me—let's just say my issue is how much it drops and widens at the bottom whenever I smile. It totally ruins my look. 😁
Hey, I got your PM, Aaron Perez14—can't wait to see those photos!! 🙂 It’s honestly awesome that you’re so hyped about Dr. Glušac. People rarely walk away that happy with a doctor—or their work, for that matter. 😍

As for me, I’ve got this drooping nose situation, and if you feel the bridge at the start, it feels like the bone is actually broken. I can breathe fine through one nostril, but the other one is always acting up—I have no clue if it's because of that cracked bone or what... It doesn't make breathing impossible, so I never even bothered going in for an exam. 😢
Anyway, I just dumped all that mess on you... 🙄 But I wanted to ask—has anyone dealt with something similar? If you have a drooping nose, do they actually have to cut the muscle above the lip too? And is the recovery a nightmare? I've been reading stuff here about how some girls ended up with totally weird mouths and smiles for ages after the procedure..:/
Hey, rustygardener172 and Aaron Perez14—what kind of noses did you guys have before?
Was the surgery just for looks, or did you actually need it for breathing issues too? Sorry if you already posted this somewhere, I totally missed it. 🙂As for me, I'm strictly interested in the aesthetics. I gotta admit, you two really piqued my curiosity regarding Dr. Glušac.
Come on, Melissa Ross68—take it easy with all this stuff😁 honestly, I felt sick just reading it. Let’s hope these kinds of situations are rare, okay?
Anyone here actually dealt with Dr. Zagaljardić before? I’ve seen him fixing noses on TV during red carpet events a few times—he seems alright to me, but what do you guys think?
vividfox said:I forgot to mention—I ended up paying way more because of my specific situation. It was about 17 $0.00. Maybe closer to 10 or 12? Honestly, I can't remember the exact number! Just ask him during your consultation or shoot him an email 😉

Got it, thanks!! 🙂

He’s the kind of guy who knows his worth—not overly sweet, but during consultations, he actually listens to what you want and tells you what he CAN realistically achieve. Yeah, word on the street is he worked on Severina (she didn't tell me directly, but people talk), and since my nasal passage was totally shot, he actually fixed it AND added back the bridge I was missing—I used to have one halfway up my nose, which caused that bump!! 😲
Sure, he’s got a bit of an ego, but I’m no pushover, and I spent ten years weighing my options before deciding to go through with it. Honestly, I am beyond thrilled—if I weren't dealing with health issues, I’d hire this absolute GENIUS/PSYCHOLOGIST/SPIRITUAL LEADER all over again just to redo the surgery.
You show up with your labs (blood work and EKG), they walk you into this really nice room, and the anesthesiologist sits down to chat with you—he was 😍then you head into the OR with my nurse Željko (what a total rockstar!!!) and just drift off like a baby. You wake up with the splint, sleep there for a bit, and there are staff members waiting to check on you. I didn't sleep much that night, but it wasn't painful—the nurse checked on me constantly and brought me tea. 👍
Check-up in the morning and then straight home. Tampons come out in 2 or 3 days, the splint comes out after a week. My case was a bit tougher because of the damaged passage, so I pulled the tampon and splint out a day later. Just stick with the bandages for 4 or 5 days and be patient = mission accomplished. 🙂
My bruising lasted about a month and a half 😠 while for others it was just a week or so—even though I wasn't swollen right after the surgery, the swelling hit me later. It didn't hurt at all, just some insomnia and snoring that kept my husband awake. 🙈
Anyway, my nose is clear, healthy, straight, and looks great. I didn't really have complexes about it... I just didn't like how it looked in profile pictures. 😵
Now I’m just happier and more relaxed. Ufffff....how much more can I breathe...anything else? Just ask. 🙂

Thanks so much for the detailed info!
What I hate about my nose is how droopy it is. I have a tiny bump, but it's not huge. It's more the drooping and how wide it gets at the base—when I laugh, it looks kind of ugly.

I need to get my head in the right space before the surgery... so I won't be doing it anytime soon, just gathering useful info for now. I was actually planning on asking about Dr. Zambelli here today, and then I saw you’ve already been to see him! 😍

I'm so glad everything turned out well and that you're happy with the results.
Can you tell me how much the surgery cost? And can the doctor make a computer simulation of what the nose should look like after the procedure?

thanks so much
vividfox said:Thanks 😁! I was looking for "my" nose to fix—just refine it! The tip (can't fully see it yet because the swelling is crazy) is exactly like my brother's and dad's. I didn't want to lose that family resemblance. My request was simple: I want this exact nose, just without the bump and with a slightly smaller tip. That was it. (Plus, he had to widen it because I couldn't breathe right, and add some cartilage inside—ugh!) 😲 Dr. Zambelli did it for me in Cleveland. I'm thrilled 😍 though it took 3 months to get an appointment... and there's still plenty of work to do on this nose of mine!🤣

vividfox, your nose looks great! 🙂

After doing a bit of digging on our local plastic surgeons, he seems totally fine to me. His work isn't bad either. From what I hear, he’s the one behind Severina's new nose—finally being able to breathe and talk normally! 😁

Give me the lowdown! What's he actually like? Does he actually listen to what you want? It's huge for me that he isn't arrogant.
How much does the surgery run? And do people stay overnight at his clinic or head straight home?

Ugh... so many questions. Just answer half of them! 😁
