If a hunter kills a dog, they're looking at serious trouble—fines, losing their hunting license, and having their guns taken away. Plus, under the latest laws, local governments are required to set up and fund animal shelters to take care of displaced pets. I really hope hunters are keeping that in mind, right Larry Perez69?
My thing is standing up for animals that can't defend themselves, though most people wouldn't want to hear about it. Everyone can draw their own conclusions if they feel like it.☕
Look, since you decided to call out a forum member who posted this years ago🤣, you could have at least tried being constructive instead of just whining because someone clearly knows more than you do. You can't handle it when someone smarter challenges you, right? 🙂 This isn't a joke, and I'm not letting you run the show here unless you actually bring something to the table. You can try, but you aren't going to win here. 🤣
You don't really seem to get how this works—an animal is an animal, and the responsibility falls on either the owner or whoever actually caused the trouble.
You're clearly missing the mark on humanity, let alone how the law actually functions.🙂 So, you got a pet? What kind? If not, just keep it quiet.
Look, I already laid it all out for you. I’m seriously going to look for someone else since you said you aren't even watching anyone's pets this year 🙂you aren't actually going to deny that, are you? 🤣 Who even asked for your opinion on that dog? Seriously, who? I don't care about your business. You showed up today acting like a genius just to come here and talk trash about something from years ago! I couldn't care less about your phone or your screen. What I want to know is what possessed you to come here and start sh*tting on this topic? I explained everything. You were talking about the past like it was settled, but clearly, you were wrong. That’s not even the point, though. The point is why you're here acting like an idiot.
dustypilot11 said:You didn't answer a single thing I asked. You're just attacking me for no reason because you're having a bad day. I'm not trying to provoke you. I clearly told you we have a pet at home and that I care about other animals too.
I'm not letting this go until you tell me why you've been picking on me all day and using lies to do it. 🙂
So, where did I say I don't have a pet? Where did I say pets shouldn't live in apartments? What was even bothering you about that post I linked twice—which you still haven't answered? ☕
You said you used to care for them, but you won't anymore. Is that a lie or should I keep digging?🙂 You came here looking for trouble, seriously!! People here actually care about animals, and you're being rude and acting like they're a nuisance. That's how everything you said comes across. You talked in the past tense, and is it true you don't have a pet now? Look, it's fine if you don't have one, but don't lecture people who want them and don't touch on stuff you don't understand. In this case, it was proven that the neighbor was harassing the dog while the owner kept it on a chain. There's been a law in effect for a month now that says dogs can't be kept on a chain. Did I not explain right away that the dog only reacts in high-stress situations? I did! But clearly, you aren't getting it. That's why I'm asking if you ever cared for an animal—not to grill you, but because that whole thing really sucked. Come on.☕ You showed up here just to stir the pot and you won't back down. You turned a simple question into a massive scene.😕 On top of that, you didn't even have to answer any of those questions. They weren't even directed at you!!
If you lived in the States back then, you aren't there now. And if you’ve been stuck there your whole life, I honestly can't tell if you're even breathing right now. Are you actually living your life or what? Right where you are standing!! Is Mike trying to help you, or are you just looking for ways to be even more obnoxious?
Honestly, you're just boring me at this point. I really couldn't care less about the opinion of someone siding with a woman who goes around causing trouble for everyone in town.☕ Like I said, let's just move on peacefully.🙂
You said you don't have anything right now, that you used to have stuff back home🙂or whatever🤔 How do you even know I'm at my place to talk like that? Look, there are people out there who care about every single stray animal they see, people who can't just walk past a rich guy's yard without picking up a pet. If you actually read this thread, why'd you only pick out the one opinion that disagrees with me? Why not try finding some middle ground and being constructive instead of just acting stuck-up? What's so hard about that? I was following the whole situation with Bear pretty closely, and if you actually cared, you could've asked me and I would've told you. But instead, you just decided you had to be smarter than the low-key Rachel Palmer56😉 That's on you. Honestly, I don't think you even cared about the dog.🙂 Just go on your way.🙂
dustypilot11 said:I already answered your question above, so I honestly don't see what the big deal is or why you're even tripping over my response.
I honestly think neighbors deserve to live without all the noise, regardless of where it's coming from. I don't actually know Ned personally, so I can't really weigh in on that. What exactly is the problem here? 🤔
Especially since you started throwing insults at me after that.
So you decided to jump into this thread just to call out someone who hasn't posted here in years? Real smart move. Your logic is totally flawless.🙂 It looks like you just completely ignored all the facts we established at the start of this thread.😁 Where exactly did I insult you? Since when did having a constructive conversation become an insult? So, you got a pet or what? We’ve already heard all the different takes on this. Just give it to me straight—yes or no? If you haven't cared about them and never have, then what are we even talking about?🤷
Sophia Roberts21 said:It honestly breaks my heart whenever I see a dog on a chain. It’s actually sickening. And fighting? That isn't even remotely humane.
Owners like that need serious legal consequences 🥳
dustypilot11 said:I really hope you aren't talking to me, because if you are, you've officially lost it. I already told you we don't have a dog in the apartment, just like I mentioned before about all the cats we had.
You literally said you don't have 🙂 But you're the one who brought this up in the first place. Sorry, but you're wrong, and I'm not going to just sit here and let it slide.
Sophia Roberts21 said:I have a dog in my place. A big one, too, and she's always in the car with me. If anyone has an issue with my dog, they just don't come over. And she walks. 🎉
Honestly, cigarette smoke and the smell in the house bother me way more than a nose sniffing me or curling up next to me while I sleep. 🕺
Exactly. Dogs shouldn't be kept on chains, and keeping them in crates isn't allowed by law either. 🙂
My girl has full access to the house and the yard, and when I'm out, she can even handle those little basement doors all by herself. I definitely can't leave her outside since she's such a tiny thing. My big girl stays outdoors, though—she’s got her own spot in the garage and a bed that's strictly hers. When it gets scorching hot in the summer, both of them just wander into the hallway to cool off. They only bark if they get spooked or feel like something's up.
Look, if she isn't meant to be treated like a pet in this house, then we're just pathetic 🙂because even the sheep in this house aren't acting right, and that's my point. 🙂
