I’m in the exact same boat. Every time I cook chicken, it hits me with that same distinct scent of sulfur. It’s been about nine months since I dealt with COVID, but ever since then, my sense of smell has been completely broken. Trash smells just like sulfur to me, and honestly, pretty much any unpleasant odor feels identical. If someone farts in the room, it’s all just one big blur of the same scent. Since I work out in the field with my crew, I usually have to ask them, "Hey, what actually is that smell?" just so they can describe it to me. To my nose, everything is just one indistinguishable mess.
So, here’s the situation: I co-signed a loan for a buddy of mine. He was doing fine, everything was on track, until he hit a rough patch and lost his job for about six months. Now, because of that, a writ of execution was slapped on me. But here’s the kicker—in the meantime, they also hit him with an execution for that exact same loan. So now, both of us are getting bled dry by two separate executions for one single debt. Is it actually possible for two different people to be facing enforcement for the same damn loan? Since he’s the primary borrower, he should be the only one being chased for it while drawing his regular paycheck, yet here I am, having my own wages docked for the same credit line.
I’m looking for some advice regarding these checks I have on hand. Honestly, having the cash from them right now would be a huge help with the holiday season coming up. Does anyone know if any major grocery chains or big-box retailers actually accept these types of checks? Ideally somewhere near a place like Indianapolis or maybe Columbus.
