I dropped my phone by the riverwalk on my way home, and now some woman who found it actually called me. That’s incredibly sweet. I’m meeting up with her later, and honestly, I’m gonna have to kiss her on the mouth just to say thanks.

Melissa Torres4, I’m grabbing my raincoat and if they don't let me in, we're both getting soaked on the way home 🙂
Robin Rodriguez5 said:Hey, how many people actually showed up? Was it 3,000 or 10,000? Those wristbands are a total joke. 😁
I'm guessing it was right in the middle, like 6,500. 😳
The Gustafi set was absolutely insane. I got way too wasted. What do you guys think? 🙏
I was expecting Sonic Youth to be some kind of religious experience, but honestly? It just wasn't for me. What's your take? 🙏

In this movie, Michael Douglas plays a priest dealing with some kind of pituitary gland issue—or whatever the hell they call it—that causes these uncontrollable hormonal urges. He ends up sleeping with a reporter who visits the church, but he's totally over her after he's already been caught up in these scenes where he's hooking up with other nuns. Then, a nun gets murdered right there in the church, and all eyes turn toward Douglas. This obsessive reporter tries to frame him for the crime, doing everything she can to ruin his life and prove they had an affair. But when it turns out he's innocent and she was actually the killer, she vanishes. Unfortunately, Douglas has no clue she's actually hiding under his bed in the rectory. She waits until nightfall to try and castrate him, but he catches her just in time. They end up wrestling all over the bed, and honestly, she absolutely wrecks him like a total coward. A massive brawl breaks out through the entire church, eventually leading them both up to the bell tower for the final showdown. He manages to toss her off the tower, and she falls down and lands on... well, something sharp, I guess, but who cares. The camera pans up to show his terrified, twisted face looking down at her, the music swells, and that’s the end of that nonsense.
Great. A total Michael Douglas movie. 😁
I suggest that when she falls off the tower and hits that thing, the camera should cut back to him just jerking off and crying. 😁 😁

Pull back. ☕ I can't believe we're still talking about this. It's ridiculous. Total nonsense. We need to get our heads wrapped around the facts here. Stop wasting time. Just look at the reality of the situation. Period.
Update: Miller ends up killing Vance. 😁 Rainy day.

"After watching Alec go at it with Velveta, he marched straight into Paris's room, kicked out some random guy who was halfway undressed, and said:
Now I'm gonna fuck you hard."

My lineup:
Genre: "Ask God, because you won't understand anything until you see who's directing."
Director: David Lynch 😍
Men: Jesse Eisenberg, Robert De Niro, Gerard Butler, Adrien Brody
Women: Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Shirley Henderson, Hillary Swank
Maybe Taylor would just be some quiet girl that Alec Baldwin refuses to touch because she looks too innocent. That’s his only redeeming quality. He won't touch anything pure. But Alec Baldwin? He'd definitely go after Taylor, and that's exactly why he secretly hates her. And Taylor? She’d probably want him to marry her.
Gregorio would be the lead—this gritty cowboy riding in from Eastern Europe. Dangerous, bad attitude. He’d meet some high-class madam played by Elizabeth Taylor, and they'd become fast friends. He'd be seeing some young socialite type like Paris Hilton. The local sheriff would be a good guy played by Alec Baldwin. Haircut? Prematurely balding. Then, the showdown happens. That’s a 4, not an 8. An 8 is way too much..

Well, it's not Franklin D. Roosevelt's fault if people refuse to work!

Honestly, if FDR is even half as good as people say, he’s the ultimate legend in my book. After him, there wouldn't be any point in anyone else.

Oops, didn't realize that. Guess my tattoos are better then. 😳 😳
P.S. Technically, I never even said they were Japanese. 😬

I think it's just because there was more rooftop running. That part was genius. 😳

I wasn't feeling it. I can't stand that whole Japanese style of trying too hard to wow the audience. It’s all those manga tropes where they leap into the air, have this massive mid-air duel, then land perfectly on their feet in some übercool pose. You just sit there for six seconds waiting for the tension to break, and then suddenly, 😁
Actually, scratch that. I love stuff like that. But honestly? I thought Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon hit way harder. Can't quite put my finger on why, though. 😳

I'll give you that, it's a sign of intelligence.
But my point is that you guys are basically coaching this kid to act like some tough guy persona when it clearly isn't him at all.😁
Who knows with girls these days? Maybe he'll actually be better off. 😁

Honestly, nothing cracks me up more than watching some scrawny kid try to act like he’s Bruce Willis or some other gritty, hard-boiled action star. It’s ridiculous. You see these little guys walking around with that fake tough-guy stare, acting like they’ve seen some serious combat, when the most intense thing they've ever dealt with was getting grounded by their parents. Give me a break. 😁
placidranger, that goes for you too.
Look, if playing pretend is your actual job description, then fine, go ahead. But otherwise? It’s just plain tacky. Seriously, it’s totally out of line and completely inappropriate for what's actually going on here.
Look, on the flip side, being straight with people actually pays off sometimes. It really does.
So, you finally get back out there. You actually find a girl you really, truly care about after that last breakup absolutely wrecked you. It’s heavy, right? It’s that feeling where you’re trying to be all cool and collected, but underneath, you're just waiting for the other shoe to drop because you've been burned before. It’s nerve-wracking as hell.
She actually looks me right in the eye and asks, "Do you love me?" Seriously? Like, out of nowhere? Just when I'm trying to breathe!
Look, you don't want to be that person who just loses it and has zero self-control. But at the same time, I honestly can't even picture living a life where I'm constantly holding back. Sometimes, you just have to look someone right in the eye and give them a blunt, "No way, pal." 😁
And she’s gone for good. Just like that. Gone.
What the hell are you even talking about? Seriously? Get to the point already.
Honestly, acting like that just screams that someone has zero emotional intelligence. It’s a total giveaway. You can practically see the lack of social skills and basic common sense staring you right in the face. It’s pathetic.
Self-control doesn't mean you aren't honest. You take a second, step back, and realize you want to tell the truth even if it totally wrecks you. Controlling yourself doesn't make you an actor. It just means you actually think before you act.

"Honesty" is just a fancy word for having zero self-control. 😉

Alright, so we're talking emotional sensitivity, self-control, maybe even a bit of aggression, right? Confidence. A total lack of fear. That specific X-factor.
Self-control isn't hypocrisy—that’s a stupid comparison. Self-control just gives you the choice to be a hypocrite or to be honest. Without self-control, you can't even manage to be a hypocrite, let alone actually express an emotion properly.

Jamie Chase6 said:It’s possible you’re just missing things that don't interest you. That doesn't mean you lack the ability; it just means you aren't paying attention because you don't care. IF you actually cared, you'd be soaking up every single signal from your surroundings. Have you ever considered that maybe it isn't an inability at all? 😉
I couldn't agree more!
If your mindset was "I hope some girl looks my way right now," your eyes would find her instantly. Same with gossip—you miss it because you don't realize how interesting it can be. That's just a taste men have to develop. You have to learn it. Women are just born with it.
