When I started this thread originally, I did so because I was revolted by something else entirely—but that’s out of scope for this discussion. This is too heavy a human tragedy to be dissected here in this madhouse.

As for my writing style, I'm still guided by the same core values I've always held.
The issue is simply that many people don't see it that way.
