Russia's invasion of Ukraine: Part 5 in War in Ukraine ·
Based on the terms they laid out back when they were in Turkey...
No matter what kind of nonsense people try to feed you—it’s all just noise. They have barely any capacity left, and they can keep pushing this agenda as far as they want. Honestly, those EU sanctions haven't even made a dent; it’s like they’ve completely lost sight of that dream of theirs.
In the end, they’re going to get exactly what they set out to achieve in Ukraine, one way or another...
Who are the mods for the "Jobs & Career" subforum? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
restlessseal58 said:I was wondering if the moderators have all headed out on vacation, or if there’s just a long wait ahead regarding the sanctions on the "BlackRock" thread? 🍿

I'm jumping in here to support this inquiry. I’ve reported some pretty heavy insults directed at forum members twice now, and absolutely nothing has happened...

I’ll weigh in here too. It feels pretty pointless to tolerate a few users who—whether out of pure spite, a bad buying experience, or maybe even some underlying business interests—decide to troll everyone because they can't stand how much Japanese brands dominate the AC market. They try to act like cheap, budget options are on the same level as high-quality solutions.

Then, as soon as people naturally react to that, the whole thread gets locked.

So, what’s the logic? If someone finds the direction of a majority discussion annoying for whatever reason, is it enough just to send in a couple of trolls to get the topic permanently shut down?

There’s a big difference between harmless banter, like when Mark Sullivan62 is just messing around, and this current situation that keeps forcing these locks.

Either cut down on the trolling or just let the conversation flow. Locking threads isn't the answer.
I'm a bit slow, can someone explain? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I’m on board with this. I didn't see any hate speech here.

So, did you end up signing it or not?

Paul Johnson said:It’s all easy to fake. An IRS agent could just claim they saw the equipment, or say I confessed to owning it. So what then?

But how would they actually prove that?

The most important thing is to not sign anything at all....

🙄

No, I didn't buy it.
And even if I did, there's no way I would've been celebrating...

Wait, really? A 10th place finish in the Sauber? 🙂

Has anyone even seen the mustache on that little brat driving the Zil Villeneuve car? 🙂

I was messing around on Google earlier, setting the search filters specifically for American sites, and when I typed in Gilles Villeneuve, my own blog popped right up. It even gave me a direct link to the page. 😁

The smart ones will figure out what this blog is actually for eventually. 😁

So, when can we expect an update?

absolute madness 😉

Vittorio Brambilla is such a wild man.
He’d probably be better off playing professional football instead...

As far as I know, there's also this other bit—I have no idea if this story is true, but it's a good one.

Ugh... I'm really not feeling this post. But, oh well... I'll get through it.

Thanks👍

Man, if I had twelve unlimited data plans,🙂 I'd have every single F-1 clip ever made.
The way it is now, I've only managed to grab all the crash footage.🙂

I guess you would've found Mike's accident hilarious too, along with Ralf's...

Well, that depends entirely on the context...

Anyway, shouldn't you have been tucked into bed by 9 PM?

I guess some people just don't get dry humor...
BTW, this just popped into my head because I'm currently downloading that old '94 Watkins Glen footage from a P2P site...

Just a quick thought I jotted down. 🙂

Well, the difference is you'd be stuck watching the races exclusively on ABC or RAI. 🙂

Man...
If only Blazic would come back... I can already see myself sitting there with the remote in hand, finger hovering over the mute button the second he starts yelling. 🙂
Those were the days...

By the way, that headline actually gave me a bit of a scare. For a split second, I thought you were being serious... 😠

Congrats to Montoya. If next season plays out like how this one wrapped up—with 1. Montoya and 2. Kimi Räikkönen—he’s in for a ride. 🙂

Yeah... maybe that's how it goes... over at McLaren...
As for the championship? It'll be 1. Michael Schumacher followed by 2. Barrichello... nobody else really matters.

The best car? Maybe if you look at the whole season, but definitely not here in Brazil... I can't tell if it's a tire issue or if Ferrari just stopped refining the thing altogether.

mistybear87 said:I didn't say they have to admit he's the best, just that they should admit he's good.
It's hard to judge how talented someone really is unless you're sitting in the exact same car. After watching yesterday, it seems like Kimi Räikkönen and JPM are hovering somewhere in the middle, which is why I mentioned next season is going to be an absolute mess for those two. 🙂

You don't even need data to see who's got it and who doesn't. Personally, I don't think Monti has the championship caliber, especially if he's stuck in an inferior car.
Then again, if everyone was driving identical machinery, racing would get pretty dull...
But I definitely agree with you on one thing—next season is going to be a wild ride.
