The Omen and The Exorcist are absolute classics, but honestly, if you actually had an ounce of taste 😬 , you would’ve thrown in Polanski’s Apartment Trilogy too.
you ever wonder if a story about a miner would actually fly here? and by "fly," I mean actually make it past the gatekeepers over at the Department of the Interior without getting shut down by some bureaucrat?
Man, I don't know if you're messing with me or if you actually believe that crap... Either way, you've gotta admit it's a total disaster. Like, the second you step foot in space, if it isn't some massive, history-making moment, then it's just pure Sci-Fi. I'm telling you, it's a failure. 🍿
Look, man, nobody has ever actually experienced that, especially not out in space. That's what makes it fiction.

If it were actually based on true events, we’d be calling it a history documentary or a biography, but nope, it's just Sci-Fi 😉
The second you step one tiny toe into outer space, you're firmly in the realm of Sci-Fi ☕
Look, if it’s got even a hint of science or some kind of event—whether you’re talking about real life or just pure fiction—you can basically shove it into the Sci-Fi bucket. It doesn't even have to be about space travel or whatever. All you really need is that specific weight, that sense of groundedness tied to scientific concepts, to be felt throughout the movie. Now, if the director is leaning way harder into action, heavy drama, or a thriller vibe, then sure, we can toss it into those genres too. And honestly, where the story actually takes place is a huge factor in how you label it.
Fantasy, on the other hand... that's a different beast entirely because it's much harder to wrap your head around. The whole foundation of Fantasy is built on these totally invented worlds and places that don't follow our rules.
if getting kicked out to solitary confinement is just the tax I gotta pay for O'Connell losing his mind and acting like a total clown, then honestly, I don't give a damn ☕
So, the other day I went out and picked up some condoms—grabbed a few cheap ones for like three bucks and then one of those heavy-duty, premium ones for ten
It’s like buying a used Ford versus a brand new Tesla, you know? One just gets the job done, while the other feels like an actual investment ☕
