Grace Rodriguez10 said:I try to eat as clean as possible—lots of grains, fruit, veggies, nuts, soy, fish, and a bit of dairy or yogurt almost daily. I don't bother with supplements unless I feel a cold coming on, though I might take some magnesium after a workout.
I get some exercise in a few times a week too... running, cycling, or just walking.
No smoking.
No alcohol, except for special occasions.
No drugs.
I keep an eye on the latest studies, but I don't really go back to the old-fashioned family recipes... maybe just some herbal tea.

Am I doing alright?😁

Oh, absolutely! Honestly, you should be proud of yourself. 👍
I suppose I should thank you all for the responses, ladies... 🙂
Tomorrow, I have an appointment with another OB-GYN, so I’ll finally get some clarity on what exactly is going on here.
Please, keep your fingers crossed for me! 😢
I have a nagging suspicion that pathogens might actually be playing a significant role in my current situation.😕
I arrived at this conclusion because the symptoms I’m experiencing seem to align quite closely with the descriptions of Microchip Technology infections found on the Mayo Clinic website.
My lower abdomen is aching—it feels so heavy and bloated, almost as if everything is about to spill out of me. The pain tends to radiate toward my lower back, and I've noticed a slight trace of blood in my vaginal discharge, though it is relatively mild.
Has anyone else here dealt with anything similar? Could this actually be what I think it is?
Normally, I would just see my longtime physician at the local clinic, but apparently, these private practices won't even perform these specific swabs.
I am honestly quite frightened, as I've heard whispers that if such an infection isn't treated promptly, it could lead to pelvic inflammatory disease or even infertility. 🙂
HELP!!

Does anyone here actually bother with lactobacilli, bifidobacteria, and those other little microbes?
If you do, I’m curious—are you getting them through yogurt, or are you more of a capsule person? I’ve noticed there is such an overwhelming amount of these products flooding the shelves lately, though they always seem a bit overpriced when you consider how quickly you go through them... it feels like a constant drain on the wallet. I suppose one might wonder if just sticking to standard probiotics would be sufficient enough, or if that's just wishful thinking.

I believe I read an article about this on Cosmopolitan

It claims to be beneficial for quite a variety of issues—lowering cholesterol, managing urinary tract infections, helping with joint health, and so on... not to mention skin health and boosting the immune system, blah blah blah...
However, the recommended dosages seem a bit "intense" to me, I suppose... so if anyone here has actually tried it, please do let me know how it went..

Then again, I am inclined to try anything that might be good for one's health... though I personally feel it is much better to get those nutrients from actual food rather than forcing oneself to take various supplements 🙂

Just one more little question for the group...

I find myself wondering about the actual efficacy of those honey and cinnamon concoctions people swear by. 😕
Supposedly, they act as a sort of panacea for just about any ailment, even serving as a preventative measure, if you believe the internet.
Has anyone here actually bothered to try it? 🙂

Does anyone happen to know if there's a way to bolster one's immune system from a gynecological perspective? I seem to be dealing with frequent infections and all sorts of other unpleasantness lately...
I have heard the suggestion that taking plenty of probiotics might help, but I suppose there must be more to it than that, right?

Casey Kim20 said:Anyone out there who’s an athlete willing to give me some advice? Here’s the deal... Growing up, I played water polo and basketball. I stopped competing around age 15 and haven't really lived a super active lifestyle since. As for food, I eat normally—three meals a day, maybe even more. The only things I tend to skip are rice and Green Beans; everything else is fair game. About three months ago, I picked up smoking and kept it up for a couple of months. Then it hit me: that's a dead end, so I quit (I wasn't a heavy smoker, just went through a pack every few days). How can I commit more seriously to a healthy lifestyle? What should I be eating or avoiding? What about drinks? Is Vitamin C good? And those powders people use for muscle pumps—my brain is blanking on the names right now. Can someone put together a quick list of what to use to get back in shape and live healthy?

I am certainly no athlete, nor do I claim any professional expertise, but I do believe I have a decent handle on my own physical condition (if I do say so myself, haha).
I wouldn't personally recommend jumping straight into those powders or "muscle-building blends," though I suppose that is ultimately a matter of personal preference. In my view, the most vital thing is to ensure you are getting as many vitamins, minerals, and trace elements as possible directly from whole foods—you know, fruits, vegetables, meats, and things of that nature. If you happen to have a deficiency due to, say, a food intolerance, then taking them in tablet form makes sense. And, of course, one should prioritize drinking plenty of water and engaging in a significant amount of exercise!😘>

Andrew Jackson83,
how exactly do you go about consuming that grapefruit or orange? I’ve heard through the grapevine that it’s supposedly quite healthy! Do you take it on an empty stomach or something like that..?
A friend of mine tends to slice up some lemons and just let them soak in a glass of water, then she drinks the whole thing throughout the day. I suppose I’d love to try something similar, but I have had a few persistent issues with gastritis lately, so...

Well, I haven't quite mastered that either, though I have genuinely managed to cut back. There are moments when I find myself having only a single cigarette. I told myself that I shouldn't attempt to quit cold turkey, lest I end up trembling—haha—but rather that I should just light one up when the urge becomes truly overwhelming. And so, bit by bit, I have managed to reduce my intake.

I am well aware that this topic has likely been trampled over by countless previous posts, yet I feel compelled to ask—please, everyone, let’s actually engage with this matter. I am particularly interested in those among you who possess a genuine affinity for holistic wellness, focusing on more than just the mere shedding of excess weight, but rather on a comprehensive lifestyle approach.
In what various ways are you striving to cultivate a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing existence? What specific tools or habits facilitate this journey for you? Do you find actual joy in the process, or do you occasionally find yourselves succumbing to bouts of lethargy and hesitation?
Do you make an effort to keep pace with the latest scientific research, or perhaps you find solace in revisiting those classic, time-tested recipes passed down through generations?
Do let me know your thoughts...😘

Not me.. 😢

Up until now, through twenty-five years of life, everything seemed perfectly fine... and then, quite suddenly, disaster struck! It’s rather ironic because I’ve always absolutely loved milk and used to consume it in massive quantities. I’ve made a slow, tentative transition over to Soymilk lately, but honestly, spending about $60-$23 every single week just on milk feels rather steep.

As for things like probiotics, various cheeses, or sour cream... I suppose I can tolerate those 😍
