Dealing with Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma infections

I have a nagging suspicion that pathogens might actually be playing a significant role in my current situation.😕
I arrived at this conclusion because the symptoms I’m experiencing seem to align quite closely with the descriptions of Microchip Technology infections found on the Mayo Clinic website.
My lower abdomen is aching—it feels so heavy and bloated, almost as if everything is about to spill out of me. The pain tends to radiate toward my lower back, and I've noticed a slight trace of blood in my vaginal discharge, though it is relatively mild.
Has anyone else here dealt with anything similar? Could this actually be what I think it is?
Normally, I would just see my longtime physician at the local clinic, but apparently, these private practices won't even perform these specific swabs.
I am honestly quite frightened, as I've heard whispers that if such an infection isn't treated promptly, it could lead to pelvic inflammatory disease or even infertility. 🙂

I have been fighting this exact diagnosis for the last three or four years—it is an exhausting cycle. There are private practices that offer swabs, provided they have specific insurance contracts or are part of a larger microbiology clinic and such. If you happen to be in New York City, I can send you a private message with the name of a doctor who actually cured me. Mind you, the testing costs aren't exactly cheap (anywhere from $400 to $300)—but isn't that better than waiting for the government healthcare system to finally decide to help? Because, believe me, if you don't treat this, it is truly nasty.
As far as my experience goes, I didn't have pain at first; the issues only surfaced once things progressed significantly: burning, occasional intense itching, a strong-smelling discharge—a bit brownish—and vaginal dryness.
No, seriously—run to a gynecologist and please, do not panic! It is incredibly stubborn (I personally went through four full courses of treatment and spent a small fortune), but in the end, persistence pays off.
Regarding the expenses, make sure you save all your receipts; they come in quite handy when it comes time for your tax returns at the end of the year!!!

You have the right to see a doctor immediately if you're in pain. All you need to do is tell the nurse it hurts—once you do, they have to get you scheduled. There’s no such thing as "waiting it out," and you shouldn't have to shell out for a private clinic just to get seen...

So, I went in for my checkup earlier today, and they went ahead and took some swabs, so I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see what the verdict is. Honestly, who has the patience to sit around for an entire week just waiting on lab results? It feels like such a tedious stretch of time... 🙂
I can't help but wonder if this sort of agonizingly slow turnaround is just the standard experience everywhere else in the country, or if I'm just particularly unlucky in this instance.. 😢
