But they aren't the "main" culprit behind aging. 😉
The "how" and "why" of aging won't be fully explained anytime soon.
Look, certain cells don't age; they constantly renew themselves—like sperm cells. Science has more or less figured out that mechanism, but trying to "switch it on" in other cell types just triggers cancer. Everything has its limits, and everything serves a purpose in the evolutionary development of a species. How else could a species evolve if every idiot lived forever? Such a species wouldn't survive. It brings us back to that theory: individual development is secondary to the survival of the species.
On an individual level, you'll eventually have to look into other methods of cellular regeneration. 😉
That whole thing about cancer—it’s linked to growth hormone usage, right? I'm no expert, I just saw it in that documentary 😉 )
And here we are, debating aging versus species survival... maybe the species would evolve differently. Maybe it would impact reproductive cycles since adults would stay in their prime longer. Maybe that's not a bad thing, or maybe it is... alright, I'm just rambling now. 😁 It would be nice to hear from darkbison81 🙂 or unknown when they have some free time. 🙂
In my view, it isn't even about extending life indefinitely; it's about improving the quality of life during those 70, 80, or let's say 90 years we get. 😉
