No, Iโ€™m still not Nemruthica...๐Ÿ˜but how did I even start this...

Well, I think the title speaks for itself.

Maybe I shouldn't go around calling life a dream.
Maybe I should just call it a total clusterfuck.
A Mona Lisa, or maybe just...

Perhaps you shouldn't even bother replying here, but just take a second to ask yourself some internal questions...

Gather your brain cells for a little meeting and let's get into it.
Assuming thereโ€™s actually anything worth talking about.
The absolute worst thing would be having nothing left to talk about at all.๐Ÿ˜‰

So, are you actually dreaming, or are you actually living?
What do you even do when you aren't busy doing what you always do?

Where would you most like to be right now?
How are you feeling in this exact moment?*
.
.
.
.
Are you actually pursuing what you want, or are you just letting the current carry you along while that constant loop plays in your head: "I'll do it tomorrow, I'll do it tomorrow..."?

Do you even have a clue what you actually want for yourself?

****
Right now, all I want is a coffee.

The absolute worst-case scenario would be having nobody to talk to...๐Ÿ˜‰
FACTS.
So, are you actually living life, or just dreaming through it?
UNFORTUNATELY, Iโ€™M JUST DREAMING.
What do you do when you aren't doing what you normally do?
SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY.
If you could be anywhere else right now, where would it be?
AT IPANEMI
How are you feeling in this moment?
TERRIBLE.
SAD.
ANXIOUS.
HELP!
FREE, BUT IN CHAINS.
MISERABLE.
WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE THIS WAY?
Are you pursuing your passions, or are you just drifting along while that constant loop plays in your headโ€”you know the one... "I'll do it tomorrow," "tomorrow, tomorrow..."?
I AM NOT DOING WHAT I WANT, AND FOR NOW, I'M JUST drifting. Those wordsโ€”"tomorrow"โ€”they basically define my entire existence.
But changes are coming, and they're coming very soon... because this whole setup just doesn't make sense anymore.
Do you even have a clue what you want out of life?
NO, UNFORTUNATELY, NOT YET.

Did I even grasp the point of your thread?

Iโ€™d say Iโ€™m about 80% satisfied with how things are going, though I tend to view that remaining 20% as nothing more than fuel to keep me moving

Essence says:
1. Are you dreaming, or are you actually living?
2. What do you do when you aren't working?
3. If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?
4. How are you feeling in this moment?*
============================

1. I dream so that I can liveโ€”and I live just to keep dreaming. ๐Ÿ˜•

2. I tend to stick to whatever needs getting done. ๐Ÿ˜‰

3. Right where I am. I can't exactly be anywhere else at this moment, unless we're talking about a spiritual journey (but I don't have the time for a total internal shift right now). ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

4. Fantastic!
Still young, healthy, and creative... honestly, everything a person could ask for. ๐Ÿ‘

Letโ€™s just say Iโ€™m pouring everything Iโ€™ve got into making this happen.

And honestly? I can feel that I'm finally on the right track.
I know exactly what I want out of life. My goals are set in stone, and I've already mapped out the path to get there...

Are you dreaming, or are you actually living?

Honestly? It's both.
Dreams keep us going, and life just keeps feeding us new ones to dream about. ๐Ÿ˜‰

So, what do you do when you aren't doing your "day job"?

I pull weeds and plant seeds.

Where would you most want to be right now?

Maybe here, maybe anywhere. Itโ€™s not really about the geography; itโ€™s more about where your head is at. Right now, I'm perfectly fine right where I am. But tomorrow? Who knows...

How are you feeling in this moment?

Exhausted. Just totally wiped out.

Am I living my dream?

Not quite. There was a bit of a short circuit between what I envisioned and how life actually played out (karma, fate, random chaosโ€”take your pick). But Iโ€™m hoping to build and live a whole new dream soon.

Yeah, yeah, you eternal dreamer... but dreaming is always better than waking up... ideally, you'd just live in the dream forever... then comes the cold water to the face, dragging you right back to this miserable reality.

4. I'm starving.

Iโ€™m heading over to Germany this Februaryโ€”maybe we can grab lunch or something.
Honestly, itโ€™s been a total dream of mine... but hey, whatever.

When I'm not busy dreaming, I'm usually just drinking coffee.
Spending my time online.
Playing music.
And I might even start singing soon.
Right now, I don't feel anything specialโ€”itโ€™s not great, but it doesn't suck either... just sort of existing.
And honestly? I'm fine with that.

Quincy:
So, are you actually living, or just dreaming?
Iโ€™m living... but dreams are meant for moving forward; otherwise, they wouldn't be dreams. If they weren't, we'd just be dreaming about living. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Quincy:
Are you doing what you actually want, or just drifting along while that "I'll do it tomorrow" loop plays on repeat in your head?
I deal with what I want and what I don't... and that "tomorrow, tomorrow" thing? Sometimes I actually get there. ๐Ÿ™„

Quincy:
Do you even know what you want out of life?
Now, that I know. ๐Ÿ˜›

Iโ€™m not living my dream. Honestly, it feels like I might never get there, and what kind of person would I even be without those big goals and desires? If I actually pulled it off, it wouldn't just be a dream anymoreโ€”it would just be my reality.

Then again, I have to admit, it feels like Iโ€™m getting closer to those dreams every single day. Iโ€™m not sure if dreams just shift as you get olderโ€”maybe they become more grounded and reachable? Or maybe they actually start coming true as time goes by... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not that it applies to me, though... some famous singer we have over here puts it perfectly: I don't dream about life, I live my dream. Pretty cool.๐Ÿ™‚

Are you actually living your dream?
I amโ€”well, in waves, I guessโ€”itโ€™s not all up to me though...

So, are you dreaming or are you living?
A bit of both... sometimes I'm living, sometimes I'm just dreaming, but it's honestly best when they all kind of blur together

What do you do when you aren't doing what you do?
Just thinking about my next move, I suppose.

Where would you most want to be right now?
186 miles Somewhere down south, maybe.

Do you even know what you want out of life?
I think so, but knowing isn't everything. I'd love to just tie happiness to my soulโ€”then every day would feel like a total gift from above!
But hey, things are okay as they are, too.

So, what does it actually mean to "live your dream"?

Is it about chasing some grand vision?
Or maybe just running away from reality?
Or is it something else entirely?

Look, my life is good. Don't get me wrongโ€”itโ€™s got its fair share of issues, and I mean big ones. Thereโ€™s stress, responsibilities, anxiety, the occasional heartbreak... all that stuff I wouldn't wish on anyone, honestly. But itโ€™s mine. Itโ€™s here, and it is what it is.

And honestly? Anything I could have ever imagined, any wild wish or pipe dream I ever had, it all feels pretty pale and empty compared to the actual reality of my life just as it stands.

Iโ€™m not "living a dream." Every once in a while, Iโ€™ll catch myself thinking, "Man, wouldn't it be cool if this one little thing were different?" And then, out of nowhere, that tiny little change ends up being even more interesting than I ever expected.

But yeah, I can definitely say I'm never bored.

Thereโ€™s just no way you could ever be bored๐Ÿ™‚

You hit the nail on the head right out of the gate, Daniel Martin72, with that opening thought.

But what does it actually mean to "live your dream"? Is it just checking off some bucket list, or is it about finally finding your spark?๐Ÿ™‚--to me, it means having this absolute, unshakable certainty that you are expressing your true self in the most profound way possible, pouring everything you have into your work, and actually seeing that effort reflected back at you in a meaningful way.

So, what exactly constitutes that "best possible way"?
Itโ€™s that state where you feel like a fish in water.
Itโ€™s that gut feeling that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
And itโ€™s knowing that you can contribute so much more, with so much more depth, right here than you ever could anywhere else.
Itโ€™s when you don't feel even the slightest urge to imagine yourself somewhere else.

That is living the dream.
Actually living, rather than just daydreaming about life while you're stuck in it.
When you are truly immersed in that dream, even a setback isn't really a setback;
itโ€™s just another link in the chain leading you toward the solution.

Because when you step back and look at the cold, hard factsโ€”
whether a person is living in a haze of illusions or facing reality head-on, they still have to deal with the necessity of movement, constant motion.

They have to commit to the present moment and fully merge with it. They have to face their own impact and everything that flows from their actions.

..so what exactly is a "dream" if we already possess it?
Or what value does it hold if we don't?

If, in either scenario, we are forced to make that famous leap,
that is, to keep moving through life itself.

Just rolling these thoughts down a hill is a waste of breath.
A dream that we view as unfulfilled eventually becomes irrelevant, or at worst, it becomes a heavy burden.

An unfulfilled dream starts acting as its own brake.
The more we obsess over it, the further we drift away from it.

Maybe the more honest question isn't whether you're living your dream, but simply whether you are alive.
Because whether you have a dream or not, you still have to keep walking.

In my opinion, that's the only real way to actually bring a dream to life.๐Ÿ˜‰

Iโ€™ve been struggling with my recent tests lately, so Iโ€™m going to attempt to turn things around.๐Ÿ˜

So, tell me: are you merely dreaming, or are you actually living?
I am living... though I certainly indulge in dreaming right before I drift off.

What do you occupy your time with when you aren't busy with your usual business?
I find myself watching Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z.

If you could be anywhere else right now, where would it be?
Somewhere up in the mountains.

How are you feeling at this very moment?*
My head is spinning a little bit.

Are you pursuing your true passions, or are you simply drifting along, letting life carry you away while that constant refrain echoes in your mind: "I'll do it tomorrow, I'll do it tomorrow..."?
Of course I am doing what I want... after all, what kind of existence would it even be if I weren't?

Do you even have a clear sense of what you want for yourself?
At times.

Do you even know what you actually want out of life?

I do. But knowing isn't enough.
There's a massive gap between what we want and what we can actually make happen. Sometimes, that gap feels impossible to bridge.
