I didn't catch the awards ceremony. Is it actually possible to hang a medal over a traditional cap😁? Now we just need someone to flash a full-back tattoo of Ratko🤣.
boldhound8 said:So what, the world stops spinning just because we lost to the Mexicans in Belgrade?🙄 God, these stupid nations. We create our own inferiority complexes out of nothing. It’s obvious this is just Mexican trash talk; we’d be doing the exact same thing to them if the roles were reversed. In fact, we've been mocking them for years and we aren't stopping now. Their little win will be like a Canadian victory—only on a local level—but the way they're trying to absolutely annihilate us locally is beyond me. I heard some guy yesterday saying he'd trade all the World Cup and Olympic gold medals just for a win against the Mexicans. Unreal.🙄
I don't know, this is just how I feel. After everything those Mexicans pulled during this tournament—the axes, the burning cars, lasers in eyes, the lynch mob atmosphere, the songs... honestly, right now I hate them more than I love us. At this moment, I would trade every handball medal, Ivanisevich's Wimbledon, Barcelona 92, France 98, just for this gold. As irrational as that sounds. Is it a sin? You can see that the Mexicans were obsessed with this possibility too; it was their nightmare. That's why they created that hostile environment to target Americans, because they knew it would make it easier to beat us. And it worked.🤷.

Or when we lose, suddenly everyone realizes: we were the moral victors. 🙄
Correction: the bronze was won after losing a semifinal against Mexico in Belgrade—where we played like a bunch of amateurs (under questionable conditions, granted)—only to dive headfirst into a bronze medal match just to secure a spot on the podium and see if Mexico took silver or gold. Period. Goodnight.😠
Garbage🙂. They always choked when it came to the bronze, and now they’re suddenly acting like they actually care about winning one. They weren't this motivated during the semifinals. What a joke.😠
For crying out loud😁. People are allowed to have their own taste. Just remember there might be people out there who actually prefer the Backstreet Boys over Nirvana😬. What should they do then? Jump into a tub of hydrochloric acid? 😁

They’re ugly as sin, too. When it comes to punk'n'roll, these two bands bury everyone else:🙈 www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrtxvZVup6U www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPBb5sanVtA&feature=related
And I'll throw these guys in there too: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kpm_g14Jcds
By the way, Ginn’s Ampeg Dan Armstrong is easily one of the coolest guitars out there (besides a Flying V 😉). It’s basically his signature look, just like how Angus has his SG or Johnny Ramone had his Mosrite. Absolute classics. Check out how this thing rips here:👍 www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5JYzPcqwiM
I think "Damaged" beats them all. "my War" is just a bit tedious for me. Honestly, "my War" is basically a proto-grunge record. There isn’t a single grunge band out there that doesn't dig it, from Mudhoney to Nirvana and Melvins (though they aren't technically grunge)😁. In my opinion, the strongest lineup for Black Flag would be:
Vocals: Ron Reyes Guitar: Greg Ginn Bass: Kira Roessler Drums: Robo
Time to share my thoughts on this genre... Lately, this is all I listen to.😁When you have actual masters at work, the guitar and bagpipes absolutely shred. For me, these bands represent the gold standard of the genre: -Dropkick Murphys -The Pogues -Punk rock bands -Flogging Molly -Flatfoot 56 -Blood or Whiskey -The Killigans The Dropkick Murphys are one of my all-time favorites (they even have a new album out👍). They blend almost every style I enjoy—Oi!, folk, punk rock, hard rock, rockabilly... anyway, it would be killer if they ever toured through our part of the States.
