The 90s: cigarettes and beer (this is probably so obvious I'll laugh at myself when it hits me) lemons, candy, and musical notes (yeah, I'm totally lost on this one) three guys wearing NY caps with a Blue Lagoon in the background zero and some East Coast state (geography was never my thing) a dancing woman, IS, and a heart
The 00s: more candy that looks like sushi and a record player a colorful spinning top and a ton of booze India, jewelry, and a female pictogram a triangle with "THE" written inside a pie and more alcohol a road at night, red blood cells, and a brain
80s artists: raincoat with a lightning bolt rock, cash, and a hard hat blood (or maybe organs?) in glasses green light at a traffic signal a lamb, a bee, and some coins
90s artists: biting someone with some DJs the Union Jack, asparagus, and a knee? two Black preachers, a sidewalk shot, and a guy pictogram labeled IC a glass, an L, and a raven
00s artists: the letter M soda, an open can, and some pics of a house and a lake? wine, a sniper, a house, and the letter E four kings and somewhere in France
80s album: a woman dreaming of colorful candy a sock and a dead end sign that woman in the black shirt, who even is she?
90s albums (these are way too abstract for me): some skyscrapers and a photo with numbers on wood? soldiers killing each other and a pin stuck in a map of LA a scalpel and a road a razor blade
I only nailed two from the 80s, and three each from the 90s and 00s 🤷 🙂

Yeah, I read the book. It didn't hit the same. Pretty sure you can just find a download for it on a torrent site.
I checked out the latest one, Spirited Away—wait, no, Tales from Earthsea. Wasn't great. 👎 But that was made by the son, not the legend Hayao Miyazaki himself.
I watched it on that DVD and honestly, it drove me insane. You set the language to English, but it doesn't even ask about subtitles. Then the movie starts dubbed in English, with English subtitles running underneath. When you try to fix it in the settings, get this—it just offers you Spanish and Portuguese. Turns out Portuguese was the dub and Spanish was actually Japanese. 😵
I was looking into the plot because I thought it was just some cheesy romance that Hayao Miyazaki turned into his own little fairy tale, but then I read online that the story is way deeper and a lot got taken out of context. Not that I care, though. It’s still worth watching. 😍 Spirited Away is way more complex; compared to that, Disney looks like some innocent bedtime story. Spirited Away's Chihiro 😍
Still, the animation itself is unbeatable, as always. 🙏
Just finished watching 😍, kind of cute I guess, but honestly nothing has topped Spirited Away for me yet. Anyone actually read the book it was based on?

Reminds me of a buddy of mine. 🤣 Some Chinese guy jacked up his prices $1.75 and lost his mind instantly. That Sonic Youth set was incredible, honestly gorgeous 😍 😍 😍 missed out on the NY dolls because I went for beers first, then two guys tried teaching me how to make paper airplanes, then a bathroom break, then SY... And during the Obojen set, I was stuck in line for those damn vouchers. Whatever, grabbed them for today. Not like I plan on drinking much of that nasty beer anyway.
