How tall are you guys and how much do you weigh? Also, what’s the general rule of thumb for weight relative to height? I've noticed that even when people have pretty much the same height-to-weight ratio, they look completely different visually. I guess it depends on something specific, maybe body composition?
So, here’s a recipe for some really fancy cookies; my old lady pulled this out of an American magazine ages ago;
Dream Cookies
- 2 1/4 cups flour (all-purpose and cake flour mix), - 3/4 teaspoon baking soda, - A pinch of salt, - 1 cup melted margarine, - 1 cup sugar, - 1 egg, - Orange zest (from 1-2 oranges) - White and dark chocolate for decorating, First, mix the flour with the soda and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, combine the margarine and sugar, then beat in the egg and the zest. Slowly stir in the flour mixture. Let the dough rest for a bit, then roll it into small balls (about 1/2 to 5/8 inch) and place them on parchment paper in a baking sheet. Bake at 340°F for about 10 minutes. These things spread out quite a bit, so I guess you should space them out more than you think when putting them on the tray. While they cool, melt the white and dark chocolate. Put each one into a piping bag—or just a small plastic bag with a tiny corner snipped off with scissors so you can write with it easily. First, use the dark chocolate to draw vertical zig-zag lines over the cookies, then use the white chocolate to do the same thing horizontally, so they "cross" the black ones. You'll end up with a little grid pattern.
I hope you get what I mean? Anyway, these cookies are delicious and look pretty great. I usually bake them right before the Christmas holidays and then sprinkle them with those silver decorative sprinkles. They look super festive that way...😍

Well, he’s not some teenager, he’s 22. I might try that unknown oil, maybe God will let it work.
if he wasn't buying cheap plastic shoes that look like leather -> instead of actual decent shoes that cost more then there wouldn't be any dead bodies near him
That's not it, he's the last person who would buy junk shoes; he always spends big money on footwear, so I guess the problem really is just those feet... ugh...
I don't even know where to start with this, but things have reached a breaking point. My brother has feet that smell so bad it’s actually insane. It’s been going on for years now, and the second he walks into a room, the whole place reeks—it’s a heavy, stinging kind of stench that practically burns your eyes. He washes up constantly, but the smell won't budge. He claims it’s just because he's in shoes all day, but I highly doubt that; my dad wears work boots all day long and doesn't have this issue. Seriously, does anyone have any actual advice? Are there specific creams or gels that actually work? I keep pushing him to see a dermatologist, but he refuses, and honestly, the rest of us can't take it anymore!🙄
I guess an environment might influence a kid's development, but maybe it doesn't have to. As for parenting, I honestly think you should just go with your gut instead of following some rigid "methods." People evolve with every generation, so kids today are smarter and more advanced; we can't just use old-school tactics or outdated rules that never change. To me, the most important thing is raising a child based on who they actually are. Like, if a kid is hyperactive, a parent shouldn't constantly be telling them to "sit still because guests are coming"—that just stifles their personality and sends the message that who they are isn't acceptable. Of course, there’s a massive line between being hyper and just being spoiled, so kids definitely need to learn right from wrong early on. I truly believe that once a person becomes a parent, they develop an instinct—though, unfortunately, not every parent actually gets it—and that instinct is probably the best tool for raising a child.🙂
I’d honestly suggest just seeing a dermatologist. Since you mentioned your skin gets oily, that's usually what triggers breakouts—and if it's actually a hormonal thing, I guess a specialist is really the only one who can actually help.

Look, I guess you just haven't fully accepted that death is inevitable. You really need to make peace with it; there's no point being terrified of something that's going to happen regardless. 🤣, instead, just lean into life—the good parts and the bad (we've gotta learn our lessons somehow). Try to live with it. I get that it feels like a massive deal right now, but if you change how you look at death, things might feel a little easier. 👋
Honestly, there's no way I want to spend my entire day cleaning up messes and obsessing over every little detail.🙄 Thanks for all the advice, everyone.😘
I’m honestly not even sure if there’s an actual name for what I’m going through, but I’m here hoping someone can tell me!🙂 Beyond being borderline obsessed with keeping everything spotless and tidy, I literally cannot fall asleep unless everything in my room is perfectly aligned and sorted. Everything in my space has to be parallel to the shadows cast by my lamps, and I feel physically ill if my blinds aren't pulled down perfectly straight throughout the whole apartment. My remote controls have to be dead center on the coffee table (I’ve actually measured the table and marked it just to make sure they're centered), my keys have to be lined up horizontally, and my shoes need to be in a perfect row, otherwise, I just can't sleep! Also, sometimes a random thought just pops into my head, and I feel this overwhelming urge to say it out loud. I’ll try to tell myself, "No, don't do it, you're not crazy," but then I get hit with this feeling that there must be a reason I felt the need to speak, so I just have to say it—I simply have to!! This happens to me constantly throughout the day. On top of that, I am completely fixated on the number three; it’s just a number that fascinates me. When that urge to speak hits me, I feel compelled to repeat whatever I said three times. If I mess up and say it more than three times, I end up repeating it until I hit nine (since three goes into nine three times), and I just can't seem to control it! Does anyone have any advice or even just a comment? Because I really can't help myself!
