I don't know, maybe it’s just me, but I think Dooks is totally full of it. Just my two cents, I guess. kaže:
If that's what you want, I guess I'll stop. 😉
Go ahead and try. I guess you can.

you're just digging a deeper hole with these lies!
me, lying?

I mean, what could I have possibly done to you this time?😢
Ri§ said:Look, even Dooks realized you're lying!
Colin knows I don't lie... our whole thing is built on trust.

Look, she clearly isn't interested in me...😢

You said you couldn't find anyone else besides me.
Well, I can't even go there now.

I mean, can't you see Colin isn't going to marry me? Why do you have to rub my pain in like this?🙂
I don't know if this is going to be easy... I mean, Anthony Kim18 is... well, he's him. 🙂
Oh my god, seriously... why am I being forced to choose between Anthony Kim18 and Colin... why? 🙂
So what now—are we just canceling?🙂
Dooks said:So, I guess there's no wedding after all? 😢 And I already had the honeymoon all planned out....🙂
Look, there’ll be a wedding, Colin... I mean, if we have to, it isn't that hard..😁
You're probably the only one who actually knows the answer to that...😳 😁
Anthony Kim18, don't be jealous... you know you'll always have a place in my heart 😳 🙂
Dooks said:you just have to figure out which part of me actually resembles him🤣 🤣 😛
Yeah... if you're going to drink... I might as well too... so I guess it doesn't really matter anyway...🤣
Dooks said:🤣 you gotta get me drunk first 😳
😁 fine by me... anything for Colin..🙂😍 🤣
Dooks said:We'll work out the details 😉
🙂😍 Look, you don't even have to stress about it... I'll handle all the negotiations... you just show up and sign the papers...😳
Megan Diaz33 said:Now that you mention it... 🤔 yeah, there are definitely some similarities 😁
Yeah, I guess I noticed those similarities too... the facial features and stuff like that...😁
Thanks everyone for all the comments and suggestions. I guess we'll just have to see how things play out now..😘
So, I have a question. Is it legal here in the US to take someone off life support if their condition is critical and there’s absolutely no hope for recovery? My grandfather, who was 78, decided four weeks ago to go through with heart surgery, even though the odds were a coin flip at 50/50. We all knew the risks, but since he couldn't even move from room to room without needing meds, he figured it was worth the shot.
The surgery itself actually went well. He woke up the next day and we were all talking to him normally—we were honestly shocked by how fast he bounced back. But then everything fell apart. His lungs completely failed after being on a ventilator for so long, and then his kidneys gave out due to an infection. The doctors told us things were critical and we were looking at hours, not days. We were just waiting for the end, but then, out of nowhere, he stabilized. Both us and the doctors were stunned, but the medical staff warned us that with cases like this, you can't trust any prognosis. Recovery is slow and gradual, but crashes happen incredibly fast. Just a day later, he suffered a stroke. To make a long story short, his condition has been a roller coaster of getting better and then crashing again. For the last few days, he hasn't been in immediate danger, but neurologists found that his entire left hemisphere is gone because of subsequent strokes. Right now, he isn't on sedatives, so he drifts in and out of consciousness, but he doesn't recognize us at all. If he somehow pulls through—which, let's face it, is a tiny chance—he’ll come home basically as a vegetable, paralyzed with the left side of his brain gone. It’s a terrifying thought: an old man who basically lives on memories coming home to nothing, just waiting to die while unable to move. I know in America you can't just pull the plug, even though those machines are the only thing keeping him alive right now. We don't want him to suffer, and honestly, watching him struggle like this feels like the most inhumane thing for both him and us. Can anyone tell me why disconnecting life support is prohibited in the US? Is there any exception or any way to get that approved? Thanks in advance for any answers!
