Hey, does anyone in the Seattle area know a reliable guy who sells high-quality weed?
Angela Wright said:Here’s what they’re reporting:
It looks like there is some seriously heavy subtext behind this whole situation.

is that... while the pathologist didn't actually find any cancer, they did flag a suspicion regarding HIV...
now it looks like the guy is just a total jerk, though I honestly suspect he might be gay, which would explain a lot of that deep-seated frustration he’s been carrying around for years... especially once you look into where he actually came from.

Don't eat much right before a trip, skip the coffee, stay away from anything carbonated... a little bit of chocolate is probably fine though... don't read while you're driving, try not to focus on anything inside the car, and don't stare at things flying past the window, just keep your eyes on the sky or somewhere far off in the distance...
If you feel a wave of intense nausea hitting you, just close your eyes and don't talk... stuff like that..
So yeah, that’s pretty much been my lifelong penance...

I mean, what kind of punctuation or biopsy are we actually talking about here?

I’ve been sitting here reading through everything you’ve posted, and I have to say, I’m a bit puzzled... how on earth are you even able to sit at a computer for any length of time?

And just one more thing, nothing too serious, just a trivial little question—what’s the deal with your sex life?
Are you still sexually active?

Don't go out and buy a house together unless you're literally days away from walking down the aisle. I'm not trying to be cynical here, it's just that times are incredibly uncertain, and you have to look out for your own future, so please, don't let anyone make you feel guilty about being practical.

👍 👍 👍

That's honestly the exact same thing I told myself years ago, and it's the advice I find myself giving all my girlfriends... though I'd say even if they're already married, it's still worth considering...
(it hurts so much... just tear me apart already)

ps. just a bit of an off-topic thought here... I noticed that little note under your username about your weight, and I honestly don't get why you'd put that there, because if you look at everything else people deal with, being overweight is really such a minor thing in the grand scheme of things, and besides, as long as the people around you truly care about you, that’s really the only thing that actually matters...🙂

I'm actually at a point right now where I'm kind of hoping to gain some weight myself... 😉
and as for what you said about there being much worse struggles out there, especially when you consider something as heavy as leukemia, I definitely know exactly what you mean by that... 😢

A little kid? 😲
Not quite... he's easily one of the most handsome doctors around.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you... just try to be a steady friend to her... and stay by her side as much as you possibly can through all of this...

Wishing you the best of luck...

Wait, which type are we talking about, and what kind of stats are you looking at?

Chase basically wants you to keep $567 of your paycheck just sitting there... almost like some kind of existential baseline... which means you could technically take out a loan where your monthly payment hits $100...

To be more specific, I am technically employed, but it's all fixed-term stuff. I've been at the same company for three years now, and unless I find something else, it’ll probably stay this way for the foreseeable future.

Honestly, you could definitely Zabiti it with Chase... I actually did the exact same thing myself... because when you look at their application process, specifically that initial loan request you fill out, they don't really force you to specify whether your employment is permanent or just contract work. As long as the company provides your average salary info and handles all the necessary signatures and stamps, things tend to move along quite smoothly.
Kevin White5 said:it really does make sense that they mentioned leukemia right away, considering that’s exactly what turned out to be the issue.

that's true... though it wasn't just about the leukemia...
Samuel Richardson said:Certain levels are slightly elevated...

Hold on a second... you're looking at a bone marrow report that mentions "slightly elevated values" and then you go off on this tangent...
I honestly don't follow how you're interpreting this at all...😕
Samuel Richardson said:I should probably head in tomorrow to get everything sorted out... the results should be ready in about two days.
I'll let you guys know.

Thanks for the kind words, it really helps. 🙂

Don't mention it at all... honestly, I've seen plenty of lab reports with those high white blood cell counts where the diagnosis wasn't actually anything worth worrying about.😉 🙂
Well, go ahead and let me know when those test results come in...
I have a feeling you'll see that everything turns out just fine. 🙂
Samuel Richardson said:I really hope you're right about this... and that it doesn't drag on forever.

It’s entirely possible they just made a mistake during the initial diagnosis.
Aside from these incredibly rare moments where I feel a bit weak here and there, plus those blood test results, I honestly don't have any other issues going on...

it won't be long 🙂
which hospital are you heading to for the bone marrow biopsy?
They’ll give you some local anesthesia first... you might hear this slightly unsettling sound of the needle passing through the sternum, but honestly, it isn't painful...
there's a chance they might aspirate some bone marrow, but it really isn't anything to be terrified about...

don't worry too much...
by the way... there are plenty of other conditions out there that are far more benign than leukemia that would require a bone marrow biopsy 😉 🙂
