Yeah, I figured that was the case too...
Basically, since there's only one ovary left, they're seeing some increased blood flow there. I guess they just want a better look at everything, so they're opening it all the way up...

Anyone have any experience with this? How long does the recovery usually take? And what kind of scarring are we talking about? 😕
