What do you guys think about the idea of living to 500?

Why limit it to just 500 years? One of the biggest side effects of how far we've fallen is this total inability to believe that God didn't just whip us up as some random science experiment. This life right here? It’s nothing more than a pale, washed-out shadow of what the first humans actually experienced before everything spiraled into this mess of physical and spiritual alienation. If you look at the whole scope of divine revelation, it’s all about getting back to that original state. God’s actual will is for His children to have eternal life, because to Him, we are infinitely more significant than just a piece of creation. That’s why we hold onto faith and hope for Christ's return—for the resurrection of everyone who truly understood what it means to have a relationship with God and with each other, those who lived their lives fueled by love. People with that kind of character are going to live with God on a renewed planet forever. That’s the Love that was planned for us from the very beginning.
