Yeah, no vomiting here either, but every single afternoon through the night, the nausea is just driving me crazy. If you aren't actually puking, people think you're fine, but it's not like that at all. 😬

It really gets on my nerves being the party pooper lately. I can't stay out late anymore because I'm crashing by 9 PM. 😢
It looks like I'm just blowing everyone off, but the truth is cigarettes smell gross to me right now, I'm basically sleeping standing up, and my stomach bloats so much at night that nothing I wear fits comfortably. 🤷

northernskipper41 said:regarding that last mess I posted, just send any thanks to this address: "Dr. unknown" New York City (infectious disease clinic)😎

Their bloodwork actually looked fine—not just the white cell counts, but the serology for all kinds of stuff like CMV and Epstein-Barr... even HIV was clear. No fever either, just a little spike up to 99.5.

Still, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it's all in their head.🤣 👋

Man, I think you’re the one with the issue here. First suggesting an infectious disease clinic, then a psych ward... 🙄 You sure love the drama. I do too, just not when I'm actually sick.😛

northernskipper41 said:Man, those mild fevers—when everyone else is cleared of any actual infections—are often just linked to tiny little irritations from overdoing it on the toilet paper. It’s basically like using sandpaper, which can cause some minor bleeding, so that might be part of why people feel off. 😬

You really got me there😲 haha!
First you have me checking my finger joints—like I need blood work to see if my bones are acting up—and now you're lecturing me! You're too much. I shouldn't even be complaining 😬
Anyway, my blood work came back perfect the other day, and my urinalysis was totally fine too. My doctor is honestly stumped.
They just gave me some ointment to rub on it and told me to get more sleep and take some vitamins for the fever. That's it!
We celebrated the good news with some cold beers, and I'm just moving on. It is what it is!

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, but I don't really see myself in it.
I'm honestly not sure why I'd be chronically exhausted. I get about 8 or 9 hours of sleep a night, my job isn't super stressful since I have flexible hours, and I stay active on the weekends but always keep Sundays for resting..
The fatigue is actually pretty new—just started feeling it about 10 days ago. Lately, I could just sleep all day. Even after 8 or 9 hours, I can barely keep my eyes open in the morning.
It feels most like that "spring slump" you get around 😲. I've been drinking aloe vera every morning and taking extra Vitamin C, hoping it helps 😁

Also, regarding that part in the post about bone issues being a separate diagnosis... what was that about? You actually reminded me that the only thing hurting lately is my hand—specifically the middle finger bone 😬. I can't even make a fist.

cosmicpanther41 said:you sound exhausted. get some extra sleep, eat more fruit, maybe escape to the mountains for some sunshine this weekend

Thanks so much! 😘 If only I could explain to everyone around me that I just need some peace and quiet—no constant visits, no endless texting... Man, a sunny weekend would be everything. 😍

cosmicpanther41 said:For me, whenever spring starts up
it lasts about a week. I'm just constantly sleepy, with a bit of a low fever, especially at night, then it passes
I just figure it's my seasonal allergies or spring fatigue

Honestly, there might be something to that. 🙄 I get hit with it every single spring, too. 😠 Nothing much to report, just ready for a pajama party and sleeping all day tomorrow. Clearly, I'm fine.

And regarding what people say about PMS—I haven't had any fevers before, so I don't know why it would start now? Nothing else really hurts, I just don't have the energy to stand up or talk for long periods of time, or anything else that takes effort. 😬

Jerry Moore2 said:I dealt with something similar a while back—just this constant low-grade fever around 99.5... it was such a drag. Taking some Tylenol usually helped. 😢
I don't remember much because I was in such a fog, but I recall someone calling it a "low-grade fever."
If I were you, I'd definitely get some bloodwork done. You might have a lingering infection or something.

Well, I've already had my blood checked—everything from liver enzymes to minerals and all that junk. Went through it all, and nothing. The only thing they flagged was slightly high iron, but nothing worth worrying about. Usually, it just clears up on its own if I take an aspirin.
I actually get a full physical once a year, so everything's fine. If there were something "chronic" going on, they definitely would've caught it by now!

Haha! I'm totally venting for no reason too! I want to get out, but I just don't have the energy to move, and it's already Friday 😠
Honestly, a pajama party at my place sounds perfect. Let's just make some mulled wine and sweat it all out 😎

Has anyone else dealt with a low-grade fever without any other symptoms?
Like, no headache, no runny nose, no cough, nothing hurts... just a temperature sitting around 99 or 99.5.
It’s happened to me a few times before. I’ve done blood work, urine tests, chest X-rays, everything—all came back perfect and then the fever just vanished on its own. 🙄
It’s been three days now and I just feel wiped out. Other than being super sleepy, I feel fine, and honestly, I really don't feel like heading back to the doctor for more tests.

Think you can't judge? Just look at what people prioritize most in life 😁
You’re saying a good match could still fail based on just two criteria, but which two am I supposed to pick? You're asking for such broad categories... honestly, if we're talking intelligence, there are so many layers to what matters to me... same goes for looks.
Try narrowing it down. Like, maybe looks (physique), intelligence (being quick on the uptake), or humor (having a sunny outlook on life)... just pick the absolute essentials.

1. Sense of humor
2. Looks
3. Intelligence

Can you rate someone based on these?
