I was reading the news recently about how they dealt with these massive phone bill scams over in the United Kingdom. Apparently, the police jumped right on it with an international investigation to track down who actually owned those lines, and they told AT&T to step up and protect their customers from those kinds of calls. Basically, if they see one number spamming weird digits back-to-back, they alert the subscriber immediately and just block the line. Honestly, if AT&T shared its biggest dividend ever just to look out for its users like that, we'd be in business!
I have some family over in Switzerland, and they had this experience once. Out of nowhere, one of them gets a mobile bill that’s twice as high as usual. Since they don't get a detailed call log, they have no idea who they supposedly called. They call the carrier to file a complaint, and boom—the entire bill is wiped clean. They didn't have to pay a single cent for that month, let alone the regular amount. That is what true consumer protection and actually caring about people looks like. We are such a long way from the standards seen in Europe... really far away...

I work as a server at a restaurant, and if I ever told a customer "I don't give a damn" when they asked how much longer their food would be, I could pack my bags and walk out right then and there. I honestly don't see why any other standard would apply to a doctor. So many people have incredibly high-stress jobs, and while I’m totally free to have my own opinion on where to draw the line, I would never take it out on the customers. I handle things differently, and if things become truly unbearable, I seek professional help—which is exactly what that doctor should be doing too...

The year is 1934. Meanwhile, in California, the father of brother Justin Crowe (Clancy Brown)—who has always been looked after by his fiercely loyal and protective sister, Iris (Amy Madigan)—starts being haunted by apocalyptic dreams and visions. He, too, is suppressing supernatural abilities. Both Ben and Justin are exhausted by their lives, realizing the world around them is essentially a high-stakes chess match: an ancient struggle between light and dark where they are the key players.

In the premiere, Ben joins the traveling carnival after the bank forecloses on his family farm in Oklahoma. brother Justin encounters a poor local parishioner, while Sofia, a blacksmith for the carnival and a medium, experiences something truly bizarre at a gas station...

I was wondering if any of you guys have ever run into this little creature before. I definitely did. A few days ago, I noticed these tiny, tiny little things clinging to the hair down near my groin. Honestly, I can't even begin to tell you how shocked I was. See, I haven't had any sexual contact in about a month and a half, and before that, I was in a steady relationship. I shower at least once a day, religiously, and I really pride myself on staying clean... And then this happens to me. It makes me wonder, do you think it's actually possible to catch something like this just through social contact? We have a coworker who’s pretty active, and since we all share the same locker room at work, I'm curious if someone like him could be the cause...
Luckily, I managed to get rid of them using some medicated shampoo I picked up at CVS. I definitely wouldn't want any of you to go through what I did!
