Nationalism vs. Chauvinism: Where is the line?

The prevailing trend is this wave of chauvinistic messaging designed to stoke nationalistic hatred and tribalism, where they try to paint the entire Mexican population with a Royalist ideology or reduce all Americans to Nationalists sympathizers.😕
The real antidote to these outbursts should be a sense of nationalism rooted in a genuine love for one's own heritage
(like saying, "I'm proud to be an American") 🙂 .
When we'll finally see a shift toward pride in our own roots instead of just pure vitriol toward others👎 remains to be seen. Until then, a poet like Walt Whitman might have looked at our current state and noted:
"Only hate 😠 is eternal."
Honestly, I'm getting sick of these "artists" and their constant drama. 🤮
