What's next after the White Button?

It all kicked off with the Pixies, and now we're seeing it everywhere in the States—and increasingly across Europe—this massive wave of reunion tours...
I find myself wondering which band will be the next to pull the trigger on a comeback here in the US...

Here is what I’d personally love to see happen:

I guess I’ve been bugging my wife about unknown, but honestly, it probably won't matter much since unknown will just spend more time making excuses...

My reincarnation fantasies actually came true last year at Coachella—Luna and The Stooges didn't just prove they aren't ready for retirement, they showed an insane amount of energy for their age...

Maybe we could even talk unknown into getting unknown together—I might ask some of his students from that technical high school over in NS. As far as foreign acts go, I've only got eight letters for you guys: Big Black.

Meetings are a complete joke. Especially this recent little "reunion" hosted by BD. They only gathered because they’re running out of cash. Well, they aren't getting a dime from me. I'm done playing along with their nonsense.

Reunion tours are honestly such a blast for those of us who were way too young back in '89 to catch a Pixies show at a local club like the Bowery Ballroom. 🙂

Oh, come on, it’s not like they’re feuding or anything. The only real hurdle is that one of them moved halfway across the country and hasn't looked back since.

Well, bravo. I was just thinking about Television myself. I've heard the same rumors about them losing their edge lately, though I’d still jump at the chance to see them if they ever toured the States... it's hard to imagine anyone recapturing that raw Marquee Moon energy.
Are they even putting out new material, or are they just living off the nostalgia circuit?

I have no idea what they’re actually playing, and honestly, I just hope they don't end up recording a new album... 🙂 Not everyone is a pro, so they don't always nail the execution...

I’d get Killdozer back together in a heartbeat. I’d throw a wedding, or maybe just a birthday bash, or some ridiculous holiday dedicated to protecting animals, forests, and fairies... whatever it takes. Just as long as they're playing...
