It’s not even about putting the parts together—it's that everything except a GPU is either out of stock or costs your entire damn budget. You mentioned you want this for gaming, which means you need a decent graphics card, but those are basically impossible to find right now unless you're planning on clinging to an old card while buying everything else new.
Can anyone recommend a decent GPU for a build like this? And roughly what am I looking at price-wise? Thanks.
I thought about getting a laptop instead, but they're way too expensive and honestly pretty underwhelming...
Hey, I'm looking to build a PC with a budget of $1667 (specs only).
It’ll be for my girlfriend and me—I'm mostly gaming, while she needs it for Photoshop and photo editing software.
Since I don't know much about hardware, I'm wondering if we can put together something that works reasonably well for both of us.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions
I think I’m just going to pull the trigger on that Samsung Monitor. Looks like the price is hovering somewhere between $1,500 and $1,800 online...
What’s the verdict on this one?
Or maybe this?

So far, they've only pitched one option at me—a Dell UltraSharp Monitor.
What's the verdict on this one?
Or maybe this?
Strategy games (Civilization, Total War...), lol, Dota 2, Overwatch, Dark Souls...
Hey,
I'm looking to pull the trigger on a new PC for gaming and some graphic design work—Photoshop, Illustrator, that kind of thing. Budgeting around $1667(specs)

Can anyone suggest a decent monitor in the $1500-$$667 range?
Thanks in advance 🙂
Hey,
I'm looking at picking up a new setup for around $6,000—maybe slightly more $2333(including the PC, monitor, mouse, and keyboard).
Mainly, I’ll be gaming, but it also needs to handle heavy photo editing and graphic design work for my girlfriend (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
I'm not an expert on this stuff, so I'm wondering if that budget can actually land me a solid rig that satisfies both our needs.
Also, what kind of monitor should I look for? Not sure if there's anything specific I need to watch out for given the Adobe Photoshop requirements...
Thanks for the help 🙂
