Where on earth are you planning to pick up that Ticino dough? I’ve been dying to get my hands on some, but I haven't a clue where to look.🤣

I have a catalog from Mašnice-misl... they're located over in gornji Stupnik, near that Target. You can just order it through the mail if you want. If you'd like, I can send you their phone number. I've actually placed orders with them before... though you could always just drive down there in person.🙂

For my crowd of 300, we have a four-tier cake—no supports, just stacked—plus a side cake if that one doesn't cut it. But the best part? It costs me absolutely nothing. I just have to pick up some fondant and whatever decorations I want, because my mom's friend is baking all the desserts and cakes for free.

In our neck of the woods, there's this tradition where people bring a gift basket. Almost every family invited to a wedding brings ingredients for the desserts (margarine, pudding mixes, cornstarch, walnuts...) worth $67 or even more; the godparents usually chip in much more. If someone doesn't want to shop, they just contribute cash for the basket, and then whatever is missing gets bought at the end.

When my sister had her big day, the desserts for those 300 people didn't cost a dime either; we only ran out of a few sticks of margarine for the filling on the very last day, so my dad rushed out to grab them.🙂

I might as well weigh in on the peach cookies. I absolutely love them—we always make them from scratch at home for Christmas and Easter. Honestly, I think the whole thing comes down to who is baking them and how they go about it. When you order large batches of pastries, they tend to just stuff the peaches with leftovers from other desserts, toss in some chocolate, rum, and jam, and call it a day. But my peach cookies? They’re on an entirely different level... truly finger-licking good.

What was I getting at here—well, if you like them, more power to you!!
Personally, I don't have any specific cravings when it comes to desserts—just let us have a little bit of everything so there's something for everyone.
