Looking for brothers and sisters in Jesus in Spirituality ·
Kevin Ruiz36 said:The whole idea of a massive savior sacrificing himself is just a psychological and spiritual scam—a huge lie fed to the masses to keep them under control. I’m not even questioning if Jesus existed as a teacher and healer. It’s more about how the old Roman Empire took his life story and twisted it into a religion complete with institutions, public and private rituals, and endless layers of dogma that the clergy pumps into people's heads.

There are just so many followers out there... I guess they actually enjoy it, and honestly, they're running the show right now.
Once I finally decided to kick the coffee habit... honestly, the withdrawal process felt way more brutal and dragged on much longer than when I quit smoking or drinking..
Coffee is just straight-up a drug, I guess; it’s tough, maybe even incredibly difficult, to break the cycle and actually feel healthy again while dealing with those headaches and everything else... but that's just my experience, and I don't miss it one bit today. I usually just stick to some water first thing in the morning or maybe a cup of tea.. as long as I'm getting enough fluids, I don't have any issues with digestion, and I've pretty much forgotten what a headache even feels like. Good luck to anyone else trying to quit.

Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice? in Health ·
I mean, just soak your backside in COLD water... definitely stay away from anything warm... maybe try doing that every single day right after "Big N"
and those hemorrhoids might actually disappear.
Trust me on this one!

I don't think I'll ever go back
to my hometown
because there’s nobody waiting for me there anymore
and honestly, all those faces faded away a long time ago
and I can't even remember their names anymore

Just every once in a while during the winter
when the wind just seems to howl through the days
I end up thinking about you
you, my dear ex
and some old tenderness we used to have
something just stirs in my heart, and I realize
that I am completely alone in this world

And if I were to see you again
I guess what could I even tell you about myself
other than the fact that I've met plenty of people
but not a single one of them was actually a friend

Even if I had been
successful and famous and happy and paid
or miserable and brilliant
or if I had been loved by many women
it wouldn't matter because I never truly loved any of them

Something just stirs in my heart and I know
that I am all alone in this world

Chorus
My darling, my darling
my dear ex, my darling
and here I am, just a tired old man now
even though I still look young

Quarantine Life in Coronavirus ·
If you ask me, this whole self-isolation thing is just plain ridiculous, especially since so many of us have dealt with everything from nasty strep throat to the common flu, and I guess there was never any real penalty for just popping down to the CVS or picking up your kid from daycare.
I mean, let’s be honest, once this whole COVID mess settles, some other new plague is probably going to roll right in anyway, 100%.
Besides, I’ve never been one for people hovering over me and coughing or sneezing right in my face... honestly, just back off, or go wander off with your own crowd of loudmouths who love to gossip under their breath. Seriously, okay?!?
