What defines a frustrated single woman? in Psychology ·
Single women in that age bracket tend to have more career momentum since they can pour all their energy into their professional lives. But let’s be honest, they often miss out on that specific sense of fulfillment. They can be quite high-strung, easily irritated, and generally dissatisfied with everything...

I know some single mothers who exhibit similar temperaments, though for different reasons. For them, the stress usually stems from life's hardships and financial struggles, making their frustration quite understandable. However, those first women? They just seem to be an unnamed person through sheer restlessness!

It occurs to me that the phrase "frustrated old maid" might not be quite as silly as I once thought. I know certain women who have remained single well past their mid-30s or even 40s, and they certainly exhibit all the classic symptoms associated with that label.

Do you believe that living a solitary life breeds specific types of frustration?
Is it possible for someone to overcome these frustrations and simply remain a woman without a husband, rather than becoming a frustrated old maid?
And what about those who are indeed frustrated but refuse to admit it? Are those cases even more difficult to deal with?

What exactly does one mean when using the term "frustrated old maid"? What specifically are these frustrations centered around?

In my view, such women tend to become cranky, incredibly argumentative, bitter, and self-absorbed. They feel entitled to say whatever they please and constantly meddle in other people's business, yet they take immediate offense if anyone dares to comment on their own lives.

Most importantly: how does one defend oneself against someone like that without triggering a total meltdown? 🙂 Especially when dealing with someone prone to panic and aggressive outbursts?

Oh, certainly, I would rinse them out with water, of course.

It’s definitely Boston! Give them a shot and you’ll likely never touch anything from Johnson & Johnson, Total, or Permacon ever again.

I have personally tested numerous solutions from Total, and frankly, I find them to be utterly useless. My lenses were constantly greasy; it was truly awful.

For several years now, I have used nothing but Boston products, and the difference is night and day. I utilize two separate solutions, and there is absolutely no need for those cleaning tablets—the liquids handle everything perfectly. I am convinced of their quality because my ophthalmologist noted that my (semi-rigid) lenses are in pristine condition. Previously, they were always scratched up and in terrible shape.

You can only find Boston at Gethaldus; I haven't seen it anywhere else. I know they offer a universal solution now, but I don't bother with it.

The best solutions I ever encountered were from Pfizer—specifically Pligetal—but they were more expensive and aren't being manufactured anymore. Boston is perfectly fine; I have no complaints. However, everything from Total and Permacon is an absolute nightmare. I couldn't even wear my contacts because the solutions caused such irritation!

BOSTON RULES!
