Finally! And don't even try to tell me you aren't feeling better now—that weight is officially off your shoulders. Once you’re actually ready for the baby, don't you dare forget to come visit us here. Best of luck! 😘
Gary Jones10 said:Everyone else is out here dealing with weird smells, phantom sounds, strange markings, hallucinations... I guess I’m just the one outlier who didn't feel a single thing until the pregnancy test actually confirmed it. And then, predictably, my period just decided to skip town. How classic, how incredibly boring... 😢 😁
Yeah, but that's just because your hormones are basically running a marathon right now.
Don't you think it’s a little selfish to suspect you might be pregnant but then refuse to actually go get checked out? I mean, once you're pregnant, you really need to start looking after yourself—starting with vitamins and all that—at least that's how we do things here in the States.
Look, I already admitted I was being a bit harsh, and I even apologized for it. But her response? She just goes, "Oh, don't worry about being harsh, you're totally within your rights!"
Anyway, pour me a glass of whatever you're having...
"A stuffy nose along with pregnancy symptoms?! I honestly thought it was just—you know, missing periods, the belly growing, those hormone swings hitting you hard. At least that’s how it went for me."
Well, honey, every pregnancy is a different story. Personally, I can barely get through a full night's sleep because my nose is constantly blocked—and since I can't exactly reach for the nasal spray without worrying, it's a mess. Just imagine how much of a nightmare it must be when you can't even breathe properly or relax, especially seven months in. You're lucky if your pregnancy is actually easy! Best,
Gary Jones10, my nose has been completely stuffed up since day one of pregnancy—and we’re already seven months in. This girl came here basically complaining that she might have actually been pregnant way longer than she thought, despite having her period. I told her straight up: if you've had your period, there is a 99.9% chance you aren't pregnant. But, as you can see from the comments above, plenty of people are still out here insisting she might be.
Since she keeps coming back to this forum and insisting her symptoms are "pregnancy signs," of course I'm going to tell her to just go take a damn test and get it over with. Honestly, I don't get how you can be so harsh about it.
P.S. My sister actually had her period through her entire pregnancy.
A stuffed-up nose and bloody noses can actually be pregnancy symptoms. I’ve been dealing with that exact same thing for seven months straight now. Plus, a ton of women deal with intense headaches right at the start. Why don't you just head to your OB-GYN and get checked out?
Is this constant waiting just wearing you down? Look, if you are pregnant, you really need to be eating better and staying on top of your vitamins. You have to take care of yourself. Are you seriously being so selfish that you aren't thinking about how the baby will be affected if you are expecting? Go to an appointment and stop messing around. Sorry, but I have to be blunt here—I just don't get it.
You could’ve figured this out ages ago if you’d just bothered with the first response test. Consider it a lesson learned, I guess. Is it really worth dragging yourself through all this stress just for a few minutes of fun?
Grab a 911 test and take it tomorrow morning. That specific test is supposed to pick up a pregnancy about five days before you’d even expect your period to show up.
As for symptoms—honestly, every single pregnancy is different, just like every woman is different. Some people feel it right away, while others don't notice a thing for weeks. Personally, I didn't feel anything at all until I was about six or seven weeks along. Just take the test so you can finally stop stressing and get some peace of mind.
Honey, it really just comes down to the individual. In the beginning, some women don't feel a single thing. For me, I honestly thought my period was just running a few days late—I felt like I was about to start, you know? So I took a test. I was dealing with bloating, my breasts were sore like they always are, and I was just exhausted all the time.
When I finally saw that positive result, I couldn't believe it. Every single symptom felt exactly like my pre-period symptoms, so I was totally blindsided. I really hope someone else jumps in here with a better answer for you. I hope things turn out exactly how you want them to—whatever your heart's desire may be. It looks like you've learned your lesson, though. If you aren't looking to get pregnant, just make sure you're protected and you'll be fine!
So, I actually used a First Response test myself. Those things can pretty much give you an answer 3 or 4 days before you’re even expecting your period to start. Honestly, I’m not quite sure what to tell you—it's a lot to process. Since I'm living here in the US, the market and all the products available are a bit different from what you might be used to elsewhere. Anyway, wishing you the best of luck!
Peter Diaz22, if you're actually pregnant, the test is going to show it today or in maybe three days—it doesn't really matter when you took the last one. I remember taking a test four days before my period was even due, and it gave me two lines within ten seconds flat.
If there's a baby on the way, your urine is going to pick up on it immediately. Don't sit there driving yourself crazy with all this emotional torture—just take the test and get some peace of mind!!!
And honestly? Just so you know, my little one wasn't exactly "planned" either. My husband and I had one slip-up without protection, and well... here I am with a growing belly. Stop playing these guessing games with yourself.
Why don't you just take a test right this second? It might actually give you some peace of mind. Honestly, those symptoms you mentioned could mean you're pregnant, but they also sound exactly like what happens right before your period hits... If you're already late, you might as well just go ahead and take the test. Just a little piece of advice for next time—try not to put yourself in this kind of position—maybe start taking the pill or just stick to using condoms. I hope everything turns out the way you want it to. Good luck!
Look, there’s a test you can pick up called "911." You can actually take it about five to seven days before you even expect to see a result. So, if you're really that impatient—and honestly, who isn't?—just go ahead and do it already!
I’m rooting for you and really hope you pull through this—seriously, don't throw in the towel just yet. Life is actually pretty great when you get to enjoy it.
I’ve been dealing with constant anxiety and panic attacks for over a year now—just a non-stop cycle. I tried various medications, but honestly? They didn't do much for me. What actually turned things around was finding a specialist who focuses specifically on anxiety. I only saw them four times, but man, it made all the difference. I feel like a completely different person now. No more panic attacks. 👍
I’ve got this massive phobia when it comes to bridges. Honestly, I could never bring myself to cross one—unless someone else is behind the wheel and I just shut my eyes tight. Same goes for blood; if someone gets a little cut or anything like that, I’m out. Uhhhhh
