frozenbadger54 said:Did you donate? And if I can ask, how much...? I’m doing okay financially, but I’m planning to chip in...

People just give what they can afford... trust me, the amount doesn't matter.
At the end of the day, sure it matters, but little bits add up...
...the main thing is just getting it done ASAP.

I was talking to a coworker who said he usually gets involved
in stuff like this and would drop $10-$$6.75, if he had it...he said
people laughed at him, but they didn't even try, while he
went to bed with a smile because he knew he did something good
and hopes it helps...

I already donated and I'll do it again, but my finances aren't
an issue, so I won't say how much—don't want to make anyone feel pressured.

Thanks anyway! 😘

Nick's parents are incredibly grateful, and little Nick will be heading
straight from the hospital to the park with his friends! 🙂

😘

Dear friends,

Our son Nick is fighting leukemia. He’s been receiving treatment at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the
Salad area. Unfortunately, the cancer has returned, and the only hope for Nick's future is a stem cell transplant he needs to undergo in Germany.

Because the diagnosis is so severe and the procedure is high-risk, the costs are massive. We need to raise over $100,000. Depending on how things go and any complications, that total could climb as high as $300,000.

(It all depends on his progress and how much time he spends in treatment).

We're reaching out to ask for your help in raising the funds for Nick's medical care—he doesn't have much time left.
Every single dollar helps us give our little boy a chance at life.

Please help Nick celebrate his 5th birthday on November 11th.

We truly believe that even a small donation can make a difference for him. Please share this with anyone else who might be able to help.

Instead of saying thank you, we just hope that one day, Nick will be the one able to give back.

The account details for donations for little Nick are listed below, along with our phone numbers and email.

With gratitude, Nick's parents.

I know firsthand that this heartbreaking story is absolutely true.

Little Nick has been battling this disease for a long time... and he's only four and a half years old. 😢>
The cancer came back, and unfortunately, it's even more aggressive now.

He desperately needs this surgery. It can't be done here, so a team of specialists decided the best option is to perform the procedure in Germany.

Please, if there is any way you can help little Nick... unfortunately,
right now, money and prayers for his health are the only things that can help him get the care he needs in time.

I know people get emails like this every day, but if this is the way to
help little Nick survive and actually have a childhood, I had to share it.

Thanks to everyone, sending love to Nick! 🙂 😘

Any kind words or advice are definitely welcome...

It’ll mean the world to Nick's parents...🙂

I want to apologize for not being totally upfront at the start—it just felt a bit awkward to bring this up!
But seeing how everyone is offering such thoughtful advice makes me feel silly for keeping it bottled up. Sorry again about that.
I guess the real reason I’ve been avoiding farming is because of how much it affects my appearance, which isn't exactly perfect to begin with.
My facial skin is incredibly sensitive; it turns bright red the second I deal with any physical exertion, sun exposure, or even just the wind. After working out in the fields, my face gets so flushed I feel like I’m actually burning. My cheeks just radiate heat. That’s why I originally brought this up from a psychological perspective. It’s hard to ignore when you’re standing there looking so conspicuous, and I haven't really found a way to just accept it. Even if I try to blend in, I end up drawing attention because I’m practically glowing with heat, like a little red sun. It makes me feel so self-conscious whenever I have to head into town or leave the rural areas. As I get older, the redness seems to be getting more intense, and honestly, I’m feeling less and less prepared to handle it, especially the outdoor labor. I’ve seen a dermatologist, but their take was basically that this is just my skin type and I have to live with it. But I can't... it’s really taking a toll on me. It’s affecting my daily life because I find myself avoiding people, especially when my face is flared up. It's just tough...

Yeah, not happening.
Redness is a health issue, though you could hop over to the US forums where they'd also understand why you can't find a girlfriend... plus we have the computer subforum... you can go anywhere! 😬😁😉😁😁🙂🙂🙂

It seems pretty straightforward to me: the man simply isn't finding any joy in his daily grind. He could have pursued just about any other career path out there, but for some reason, he decided to settle down as a farmer.

It’s not funny, but we need a laugh when everyone’s being this depressing, right? 😉😁😁

No hard feelings...🙂

But if you got them, then.. 🙂🙂😉😁

ironwolf82 said:I feel so lost because I’m stuck in a career I absolutely hate, and right now, I don't have a choice. Honestly, it’s embarrassing to me—I dread going to work every single day, and it just leaves me feeling empty. This isn't really living; it feels more like a constant struggle. Most people around here are in farming, and man, it’s just draining the life out of me. I feel numb, like I’m barely breathing, just totally unhappy. Being out in the sun working the fields physically breaks me down. I even feel ashamed to hang out with friends because I feel like some rural laborer, even though deep down, that's not who I am. I just don't know how to change my circumstances. Living in this small village where 99% of the population is in agriculture isn't for me... I don't want to follow the crowd; I want something new, something that actually makes me happy. I've been doing this since I was 12, ever since my dad passed away. I grew up working alongside my mom and grandpa. It’s been such a grind, and I think I’ve finally hit my limit. I'm 26 now, living with my mom who works full-time. I’ve worked so hard, trying to balance college while working these long hours, but it feels like my best years have just been wasted on manual labor in the dirt.
The real issue is figuring out how to find a different job—honestly, any job would do, even if it’s not in my field of study. But the hardest part is the mental hurdle of walking away from the land and letting it go fallow. This is the land my grandfather and father poured their lives into, but I just can't bring myself to keep doing it.
I’m just at a total loss...
Has anyone else ever found themselves in a spot like this?
Maybe this sounds dramatic, but it feels like I’m just watching my life pass me by instead of actually living it...

Great, why don't you come visit us in the city where it’s foggy and raining half the time! 😁😁

As for the second part... how you look has nothing to do with your job, so that shouldn't be an issue...

...unless you're a mechanic with grease all over your hands, but whatever. 😁🙂🙂

Emily Hayes said:People act like I'm crazy for not putting sugar in my lemonade. Meanwhile, they're dumping pounds of it into their own drinks. I haven't touched sweetened water in years. Honestly, if someone slips sugar into my drink without me knowing, the taste is just revolting.

I’ve never even touched artificial sweeteners, so I wouldn't know. I stay away from that chemical crap whenever I can. 🙂

Alright, what now?
Is Natreen any good or what?

Watching the boss right now—he's just dumping three scoops of Natreen into one bowl of mix.
Seems like a bit much to me... especially if they're knocking back 6 or 7 cups of tea a day.

How am I even supposed to prove that's overkill? How? Seriously? 😁😁

Maybe you're having a hard time finding this info in English (though I can find it easily, 😬😁)...

But here's the Latin version... it's universal, so maybe that'll help, right? 😉

Sooo much !!! 😁🙂🙂

roschyta said:here’s my first post 🙂

So here’s the deal. I’m 19, and back in high school, I was incredibly shy. Like, seriously withdrawn. I’d only talk if someone cornered me, always staying on the sidelines. I didn't go out much; instead of hitting up coffee shops, I just sat around reading books. I viewed guys as these totally unreachable beings. Everyone thought I was just this weird little kid.
I didn't put much effort into my looks either. Honestly, it made me miserable because my true self never got a chance to come out. Deep down, I was actually a total rebel.

Then everything changed..
About a year and a half ago, something clicked. Or maybe I just stopped caring. I completely flipped. Now, I’m the loudest person in any room. I always dominate the conversation. I’m out every single night. Guys are everywhere. It’s not even that I’m "open"—it’s more like I have zero filter. I talk too much, I cause drama, and I’m doing professional modeling now. I love it because it feels like the real me. The only thing is, I’ve gone overboard. My impulses run the show, and I really need to learn how to hit the brakes.

Also, I used to be full of insecurities, but now I’m way more confident.

What I want to know is: what happens in your head to make you suddenly pivot and face the world like this?
It’s like I swung from one extreme straight to the other.
Did any of you go through massive transformations like this at some point?
Because who I am now is just a different version of who I've always been.
And finally, how do I slow down and chill out when I feel like I’m trying to make up for all those lost years?

Sounds like those former straight-A students who act like they own the place now, constantly bragging about guys and their hookups...
I just give them a smirk and move on.. 😁😁 🙂
