And here I was, hoping this discussion would carry a bit more weight and seriousness... Naivcina 🙂
I've been wondering lately, what do you all consider to be the greatest cinematic hero in the history of film?... It doesn't necessarily have to be one of those classic characters with superpowers, like Spiderman or Batman, though they certainly count.
I also wonder if it makes sense to look at movies based on true stories, because if we did, Schindler would probably be the undisputed winner there.
For me, the choice has to be Sam from Lord of the Rings. While most people might instinctively pick Frodo, I truly believe Sam played the most vital role in the story, time and time again... His personal struggles, those quiet moments where he lifts both Frodo's spirits and his own, and that sheer persistence to never leave Frodo's side... in the end, it was largely thanks to him that all of Interstellar was saved. Sam, a hero among heroes...👍
Hi there. I’m a complete novice when it comes to building a PC, so I would really appreciate some guidance here. I know GPU prices have become absolutely ridiculous lately, but I don't really have much of a choice since I need to upgrade my entire setup for several reasons.
Mainly, I use my computer for online gaming—mostly sim racing at the moment—so I just need a machine that can handle decent gameplay. I’m looking for the tower and all the internal components, plus a mouse, keyboard, and monitor... I already have everything else. For the display, I’m currently using a Dell S27 series 144 Hz monitor.
I don't have a preference for which retailer I use, any payment method works, and I wouldn't mind waiting up to a month for shipping if necessary.
I would be truly grateful for any advice or potential build suggestions you might have...

It’s just because every once in a while my heart starts racing intensely for a second or two for absolutely no reason at all... sometimes when I'm just lying down doing nothing, and other times when I'm performing light tasks, so no physical exertion or stress involved, nothing that would typically trigger it, I just wanted to be safe and proactive... I'm 26 years old
Could someone please help me make sense of these results? I had a Holter monitor done about a week ago and just received the report today, which reads as follows:
Holter ECG: A heart rate was continuously recorded with an average of 65 bpm, a minimum of 39 bpm, and a maximum of 142 bpm. A-V conduction is normal, though there is some conduction delay in the right bundle branch. No significant changes in final oscillations were noted. Ventricular heterotopy is represented by 1 PVC, and supraventricular heterotopy by 1 SVC...
Thank you...
I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what a session with a solid chiropractor typically costs, and maybe share a little bit about what the process is actually like...
Since I live out in rural Oregon and work a pretty demanding physical job, I’ve started feeling the strain lately, plus I've dealt with some slouching issues since I was a kid, so I'm really hoping to find someone who can help me get my posture back on track and everything properly aligned...
