I’m done with them for good.
It’s just heartbreaking to see how many young women are popping all these chemical substances every single month. Maybe it helps in the moment, maybe it relaxes the muscles or whatever, but it’s wrecking your liver and everything else; your body is really struggling to deal with it all.

And what's even sadder is that doctors—especially gynecologists—seem to have zero advice to offer other than just prescribing some toxic junk from the pharmacy... yuck.

There are plenty of natural ways to handle this. One of them actually worked for me. Long live nature! 😍😍😍

Look, anyone who has dealt with unbearable pain—the kind where you pass out, can't stop vomiting, have zero control over your stomach, and spend days on end stuck in an ER... people who have spent years being hooked up to IV drips and getting shots of Voltaren or whatever else they throw at you—honestly, they don't give a damn about what you wrote here.
Only someone who has actually lived through that hell understands. And unfortunately, there are a lot of women on this forum going through those exact same ordeals, so we know exactly what "unbearable" means.
In those moments? If someone offered me poison, I probably would've taken it. That’s how intense the pain is. If you haven't been there, you have no clue what we're talking about, and there really isn't an "alternative." God knows I’ve tried everything under the sun. Nothing helped except for an IUD that basically stopped my period entirely—everything else is just useless crap.

I’m sorry to all the ladies on the forum for being blunt, but I just had to say something.🙂

I got my first period when I was 12—and man, it was brutal. Honestly, every single month after that just got progressively worse. I’m talking about feeling like I was actually dying. My principal used to drive me straight to the ER every 28 days just so they could hook me up to an IV and give me some shots... and honestly? Nothing ever really worked. Ketoral, Voltaren, you name it—they’d dull the edges a bit, but they never actually fixed anything. My whole life basically revolved around counting down the days until my next cycle, and the panic would set in every time a new month rolled around. Things were slightly more manageable once I started on birth control pills—which was great at the time, though obviously, those aren't exactly "healthy" either. Then I had my baby at 23... everything was fine for about six months postpartum, and then—bam—the pain came back with a vengeance. It wasn't just "drive me to the ER for an injection" anymore; I was literally passing out in the emergency room. Eventually, on my gynecologist's recommendation, I went with a Mirena IUD. Since then? Not only is the pain gone, but the periods themselves have vanished. Seriously, anyone who has been through the absolute hell I went through with my cycles can understand what a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I feel like a completely different person. I don't spend my days dreading the next one, wondering if it'll kill me, or praying someone is home to call 911. I don't know how old you guys are, and look, I'm not here to preach or tell anyone what to do—I just wanted to share my experience. I'm 36 now, and I can finally say I'm living like a "normal" woman.
