The best Trip Hop tracks? in Music ·
Thomas Diaz6 said:nimblenomad41, you gotta grab that Cujo - break Chamber track... it's the ultimate trip hop vibe for me, especially with all that jazz influence. If you can't track it down, just shoot me an email and I'll send it over myself 😁😁

you probably mean break Charmer, right? anyway, here's what I found 🙂

Thomas Diaz6 said:Go hunt down some Depth Charge—those guys go way deeper and hit harder. You mentioned Faightless and Leftfield? Honestly, I see trip hop as just this chill music with massive beats... kind of like watching a helicopter try to take off, but it just can't quite get airborne, and everything is happening in slow motion 😁😁

thanks, just found a few things on some old file-sharing sites so I'm downloading now 🙂
That’s a hell of a description 🙂

Personally, I’d say Portishead and Massive Attack are the gold standard... okay, maybe Tricky too... but I like to dig a little deeper—Lamb and Goldfrapp are right up my alley and stuff...
but as for Leftfield and Faithless? I'm really not so sure about them??

Anyone listening? I mean, if anyone out there actually has good taste, maybe you could drop some solid recommendations my way... Right now, I'm downloading Lamb, and honestly, it’s killing it...
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime in Music ·

Looks like everyone’s getting into the habit of digging up old threads lately... which, honestly, why not? Anyway—just a heads-up for the group... there's a sequel to Queensryche - Operation coming out... just thought you all should know...
Just wanted to jump in here—if you're hunting for something a bit more modern on the rock side of things... then you definitely need to check out A Perfect Circle and their debut, Mer de Noms, or maybe Thirteenth Step. Honestly, you can't go wrong with the first Audioslave record either—it’s just called Audioslave, if you can believe it... maybe give the Smashing Pumpkins a spin too 🙂

Wait, what? Most women I run into are huge fans of that band—is it actually the music, or is it just because the singer is hot? wtf 😕
