Look, that's just my take on things. I'm not forcing my opinion on anyone.🙂

Dr. Brnčićka was alright, though her exam felt a bit rough (just something to deal with)
She listened to my panic attack story without missing a beat and actually helped calm me down.
I’ve known her since I worked at the University Hospital, and honestly, she seems way more experienced than these other doctors who jump straight from residency to primary care. She might be one of those types you have to grill with a million questions just to get the full story out of her, but hey, I guess that's just how she is...

That dog is too full; I don't think she'll take it. Brnčička will, though... It worked fine for me.

velvetwolf92, you've got Dr. Brnčić on the opposite shift from Dr. Krešić. She’s the new one and she's taking female patients. If it helps you decide, just know they have ultrasound available now (not sure how long they've had that tech). Honestly, the doctor is great, and the nurse is even better.
The real issue is that journalists don't give a damn about the difference between pure negligence—which, in my experience, is usually the smoking gun for anyone rumored to be taking bribes—and a simple mistake. Mistakes happen; they happen to anyone working in healthcare for 35 years. But to them? It doesn't matter. They just want to go straight for the throat and tear him apart.

Megan Lopez4, just a heads-up: after you get a Pap smear and the results come back bad—or even just inconclusive—you can't just go back in for another one immediately. You have to wait for your cells to regenerate. It sounds stupid, I know, but if they scrape you again too soon, you're basically just scraping healthy tissue and getting a "perfect" result that isn't actually true. That’s why they make you wait about three months or so. Don't quote me on the exact timing, though.

So, I was talking to this doctor with 40 years under his belt, and he made an interesting point. He said Mirena is great for women dealing with specific health issues—like endometriosis—where you need more than just contraception. But for a healthy woman? He claims the lining of the uterus atrophies under the influence of the device, making it look like a postmenopausal uterus. And apparently, that’s not exactly ideal. To paraphrase 🙂
