You might have dialed the wrong number, but you definitely reached the right person. If you're still confused, let me make this crystal clear: screw you and your whole family. Get lost, you absolute jerk!

That's how you do it. 👍
I've shuffled a few things around here, but the core truth remains: this stands as one of the most captivating moments in football history.

Maybe it was Palace, but I have this memory of dark jerseys with bright yellow numbers on them (or maybe I’m just mixing things up with that one fan wearing the brown jacket and blue hair 😁).
Though, if I recall correctly, it felt like Eric spent more time dodging those commercials than actually getting hit by anything.

I’ll never forget that one game back in '94 when Romário came off the bench for Barcelona. He just burst onto the field, leveled an opponent, and was headed back to the locker room before anyone could even blink. 😁

I believe it was against Manchester City. Cantona gets sent off and heads toward the tunnel, walking past the pitchside advertisements. Naturally, the fans start heckling him, so he lunges at this guy—looks like some short-haired dude in a leather jacket—and they both go down. The referee steps in to separate them, spreading his arms in total disbelief while the crowd pelts Cantona with sunflower seeds as he walks away...
Is that detailed enough?

Those unknowns from the East didn't have a clue where they were for the full 90 minutes.

You're the unknown one. We'll see how your guys perform. Oh, wait—you aren't even here. How does that work? Oh right, you blew it at the European Parliament too, among other things.

🙂

The reasons for this disaster are obvious: only 6 players showed up for training; 13 went to Athens; half the squad from the last European Parliament tournament is missing, plus Vidic, and we don't have a single player older than 23.
And the fact that the US Soccer Federation folks are such cowards—they basically preemptively claimed they wouldn't call up veterans because they supposedly "don't want any drama" with foreign clubs—that's just an excuse (incidentally, we're the only ones here). As for the Argentina game, hats off to our boys; from the first whistle, those nine guys stood their ground in the box and didn't budge. The Argentinians are trying to play some fancy combinations, but they couldn't care less about actually moving toward us. It was clear after just 5 minutes. Now, whether they can actually pull off a win against unknown teams like Australia or Tunis remains to be seen. Pizon has been drilling it into their heads since day one that only these two matches matter. Besides, no other European teams are doing much better. Clearly, everyone else took this competition way more seriously.
