Alright, we'll dive into all those little details tomorrow once we see how things shake out. Just taking it one step at a time, you know? Easy does it...
I haven't been out to Central Park in almost a month. I’d really love to make it happen this time, and then after that, we can just play it by ear and mix things up.
Man, 95 degrees? That’s basically nothing... it’s just a little sunshine! {At least when it’s like that, you can actually say the heat was worth it for such a great time hanging out}
Alright, let's just meet at the main entrance. We'll hang out there for about 15 minutes or so. If anyone knows they're going to be running later than that, just shoot me a DM so I can keep things organized easier, okay?
Sometimes we just grab a coffee, maybe pick up some cookies or chips—just something light to snack on—and hang out. We even get active sometimes, playing a little badminton or whatever.
So, mark your calendars! Friday, August 14th at 5:30 PM. We’re meeting up in Central Park, right by that little kiosk near the Beverly Hills station... just a nice mix of walking, chatting, and keeping things totally chill.
I’m actually getting into much better shape lately {my running is definitely improving}, so there you have it. If anyone needs me to run out and grab some pizza, don't worry about me, I'm more than up for the task!
Communication isn't exactly a walk in the park, I totally agree. Especially when you have too many thoughts swirling around at once and they all start blurring together.
I feel like my experiences—you know, those moments tied to specific settings or environments—have such a massive backstory. It’s almost harder to organize my memories logically because I tend to soak up so much sensory input along the way. I mean, I just look around, and everything seems to register somehow.
I’m always trying to spark better ideas, though my motivation tends to dip every now and then. Sometimes, just observing different spaces or thinking about how they’re laid out helps get the creative juices flowing again. Honestly, I’m not that kid anymore who would sit down at a computer for the first time, or go to an NBA game, and then spend days just obsessing over it. I think I’ve lost some of that playful, easygoing energy I used to have; sometimes I get a little too caught up in being serious.
Then there are the old scars, too. Like walking past my old high school, which is basically a collection of nothing but bad memories. Still, those flashes of nostalgia can actually be pretty inspiring sometimes.
Maybe I was trying to juggle too many things at once, which is probably why I feel so disconnected from the person I used to be. So, how do you find that spark again when life starts feeling heavy?
Alright, so if we get at least seven people to show up for sure, plus maybe a few more who are on the fence, we could definitely pull together something tasty {maybe even some chili and cornbread}!
Alexander Sullivan said:Perhaps we could try hitting up Central Park for a swim some other time, and maybe get a game of beach volleyball going instead.
We could totally do beach volleyball {as long as the ball is bigger}
I'm talking beach volleyball with a tennis ball {or maybe even a handball}
Alexander Sullivan said:Yesterday was actually quite pleasant—meeting new people, enjoying some good company, being out in nature, and getting a bit of exercise. I suppose you won't find much better than that 🙂
And hey, the sports stats should start looking up soon enough. {We just need to get the right game plan in place.}👍
Kabaddi? Now that sounds interesting. Might be worth looking into. Or maybe I should just stick to good old-fashioned football? What do you think?
So, basically, hitting those outdoor expeditions is such a great way to recharge, right? It’s the perfect reset. And honestly, once you get that momentum going, the creative ideas just start flowing like crazy. I've been feeling it lately with music, film, art—all that stuff. It’s like everything just clicks. Don't you find that happens to you too?
Samuel Kim7 said:🙂 Yeah, it was a blast. I should probably mention how crimsonpuma23 logged the results... we have to keep in mind they didn't touch a single drop of alcohol, while Carl Rivera43 and I were busy knocking back beers. crimsonpuma23, I’m not trying to take anything away from your win here, just stating the facts 🙂
Anyway, those were the results this time around. Maybe things will go differently next time? {But hey, good vibes are what really matter}
Oh, we did some card games too, though obviously not poker.

And just like that, we have our undisputed champion from the first set of local sports games! As expected, the heavy favorite absolutely steamrolled the competition, so we went to grab a quick quote, and all we got was this incredibly profound little nugget: "I came, I saw, I conquered." But honestly, if you want the real takeaway here, it’s this: It’s the taking part that actually matters. 😉
Yeah, that badminton score was the biggest shocker {I was leading by two or three points most of the time, and then at 8-5 in my favor, Fliss goes on a 4-0 run... then somehow I managed to tie it up at 9-9... but in overtime, Fliss just had more game {and boom, there's the upset!}}👍
So, consider this your official invitation to join in very soon. The premiere of Psihopong went incredibly well, and the sequel is coming up fast!
