I was thinking about this today while watching some old clips of local derbies. There's this unwritten rule in a lot of cities that even if you absolutely loathe a certain organization or group, you still step up when they're staring down the barrel of total collapse. It’s about preserving the culture of the city, right?

Lately, it feels like that sense of shared responsibility is evaporating. It’s becoming much more "every entity for itself." If a local institution is failing due to their own mismanagement, people are much quicker to say "not my problem" than they were twenty or thirty years ago. It’s a colder way to live, I guess, but maybe it’s just how things work now.

I used to think that supporting a rival in a moment of crisis was a sign of class, but now I wonder if it's just enabling bad leadership. If you bail out a mess, you're just setting them up to fail again.

Do you think we've lost that sense of local solidarity, or is it just more logical to let failing entities go under?

Any local pharmacy.
... reflective material?
thanks
I’d love to, but I'm lacking both a ride and a ticket 😁
It was about $2.25% off at Zviždaljki.
If you need better quality stuff, maybe try Intersport or some other sports retailer.
Count me in for a ride 😬
Facebook says:
"We’re heading out from the Metropolitan Museum of Art around 4:30 PM and should hit Central Park by 5:30 PM."

You might be able to make it for the Terry Fox run and this too.
It was great seeing so many cyclists out all at once last time. I'm heading back again this trip.

Thanks in advance.

Those ultra-cheap ones aren't great for actual reading. I always find the light is just too dim. 🤷
Try checking Amazon or browsing some profiles...

Just this one single post, I promise. It's the holiday season, and if I could ask one thing, it would be for you all to be a little empathetic and realize how much this means to me.
I’m genuinely looking for a beautiful, cozy, stress-free, and—obviously—sweet holiday experience, and for that, I really need

Where can I pick this up? Specifically, I’m hunting for the gingerbread man profile.

I’m not really the type to wander aimlessly through stores or spend hours browsing aisles; I’d much rather just get straight to the point and get things done.🙂

If this works out, there will be cookies for everyone!

Best wishes and happy holidays to you all!

There’s actually a thread about it over in the food forum. Some of the girls there were mentioning where they found those kinds of molds.

I have a couple of places in mind—maybe check out some local drugstores—but I feel like hunting them down might be a bit much since they're mostly a summer thing, right? So, if anyone's spotted any lately, let me know 🙂

Try the sporting goods section at Target.
Jacob Evans49 said:Thinking about picking up some travel pillows—you know, the kind to prop your head up when you're trying to sleep in a seat. Samsonite is way out of my budget. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

$6.75 Check out Dick's Sporting Goods. You can even find them at gas stations sometimes.
felt?
You can find it at any fabric store. Just measure your table and buy whatever amount you need.

- something made right here in the States 😁 goes for $25, but then I look on eBay and there’s Chinese knockoffs going for like $1 including shipping!?

thanks

Frankopanska Street, near the tram stop... there’s a shop selling underwear there (Leonardo?).
$20
I saw it in a shop window today.

I think I saw one at that kitchenware shop near the Republican National Committee headquarters, over by Freedom Plaza.
ruggedfox28 said:hey, does anyone actually know where I can grab those little foam covers for headphones? I checked out the Chipotles in both Split and Chicago and they don't carry them at all...

😕

Try the mall downtown—either near the main plaza or over by the shopping district.

does anyone know where I can grab an Alice in Wonderland movie poster in NYC?

thanks in advance

Have you tried asking at the local AMC? I've requested posters a few times before and they actually came through. I'm not from this area, but I doubt it would be an issue.🤷
Tight-fitting shoes in Fashion ·
I recently read some advice about stretching shoes by using a bag of water—basically, you put it inside the shoe and toss it in the freezer. If I remember correctly, the method went something like 😁 someone even included a YouTube link, but I can't seem to track it down now. If anyone knows where to find it... thanks! 🙏
You’ve even got it in your important gallery
Where can I pick up Tetris? 😁 Basically, I need some updated info. I saw it at Interspar a few months back but didn't grab it then. 😵😵
