Around here, the tradition is usually to pick up a Bible and maybe some jewelry—like a little cross necklace or something similar. My sister and I both got stuff like that for our First Communion; we had different godparents and weren't really tied to the same group, so we didn't ask for anything specific. I ended up with a necklace, while my sister got a bracelet. She did the exact same thing when she was acting as a godmother later on. To me, it feels like the right way to go. Fine, whatever, I play along and go grab a sandwich myself :stupid_me: and walk back in a bit later. I was thinking about swinging by my OB-GYN tomorrow to see if she can just write me a new prescription. What do you guys think? Is that even necessary, and will she actually give them to me since I'm already on birth control? Also, does anyone know how much those usually run?
