And why does everyone have such a bias against users? Most of us are actually decent, sensitive people who just struggle to handle everyday pressure, which is why we turn to substances. We're nowhere near as dangerous as the local alcoholics.
Besides, drugs are basically just what a vet would prescribe to a dog...

Look, I don't have a prejudice against you personally. It's just that I can't stand watching someone destroy themselves simply because the world doesn't live up to their expectations. Don't get me wrong—I'm not a fan of capitalism either, nor do I particularly enjoy modern society, but I don't resort to drugs to cope; I just choose to distance myself from that mindset.
If living in today's world is truly that unbearable for you, you always have the option to move out to a quiet farmhouse in the Midwest and live by your own rules. Get some animals, start a garden with fruit and veggies, and just enjoy the peace! Best of luck to you.
And maybe find yourself a nice partner to share it all with.😉

You honestly don't get what I'm talking about. I'm saying that nowadays, people care about everything except themselves. Self-care is at the bottom of the list.

Rise, run, rush, stop, fall. There are no questions about why or for what purpose.

All you care about is basic survival. That’s my point. You'll spend your whole lives being chewed up just to put food on the table.
So, what's the point of living? Just to eat? What comes after that?

Is this really what life is? If so, I'm not a fan. Who designed this mess? You did. And that's why I hate you.

Credit to the exceptions, though.

That's why I know how my story ends. I'll be an addict, live another two or three years, and then umrecet. I'm choosing that over that "straight" lifestyle that's nothing but boredom and misery.
And I don't think anyone's going to mourn me, nor do I care. They can talk trash at my funeral for all I care.

One more thing. I'm sick to death of nationalists, racists, and anti-Semites.

I am a Mexican, so shouldn't you hate me?

In my opinion, you need to grow up and accept the world for what it actually is instead of trying to idealize it. And age doesn't matter here; the simple fact that you're using drugs tells me everything I need to know about your emotional maturity.
However, the fact that you even started this conversation suggests that maybe, just maybe, you still want something out of life. That’s why I’d suggest making an appointment with a psychiatrist. Don't hold a prejudice against them, just like society holds a prejudice against you.

Is it possible that my metabolism has just slowed down, and if so, what can I do to fix it?

It’s absolutely possible!
You know how people always say dieting is just the funniest way to gain weight?😬
That happens because when you constantly deprive yourself of food, your body basically adapts to that scarcity, making it hyper-efficient at storing everything you *do* eat. Honestly, instead of starving yourself, I’d really recommend trying the Zone diet. I’ve already dropped 6 pounds using it, and the best part is that there’s NO deprivation involved. It isn't nearly as complicated as people make it out to be.
Is a major brand's sparkling water toxic?! in Health ·
Ronald Allen3 said:Seriously, someone please just tell me which brand we should avoid drinking—or better yet, stop buying altogether... I heard from one source that they’re basically just filling bottles with regular tap water, maybe slightly filtered, and passing it off as premium. There isn't even a trace of actual spring water in there, despite what the label says 😕

just like those two characters from Only Fools and Alleyways 🤣
Migraine help needed ASAP!!! in Health ·
Anonymous said:Here’s the deal. My mom is dealing with a massive migraine this Saturday, and these things usually knock her out for about 4 or 5 days. If anyone has any solid migraine meds they could recommend or share, please let me know. I’d be happy to swing by and pick them up if you’re anywhere near Los Angeles or Southern California...
Price isn't the issue here; I just really need something that actually works for her..
If anyone is further away, maybe you could ship them or send them via a courier, anything at all.. I just can't have her stuck in bed that day; it would absolutely kill me. Here’s my number: 098 822 188

I’ve heard that peppermint oil can be really soothing for migraines. Maybe try heading to a local drugstore and ask the pharmacist about it.
Brain fog / Losing focus in Health ·
silentcanyon102 said:I think I’ve placed this in the right section.
Does anyone have recommendations for supplements or vitamins to help with focus? I am struggling to concentrate on just about anything—it’s becoming a real issue. Whether I’m trying to study, watch TV, or even just read, my mind wanders. For instance, I’ll finish an entire article in the New York Times only to realize I haven't processed a single word. I can't tell if it's just burnout or something else entirely—honestly, I have no clue. To be clear, I'm not dealing with depression, so I don't think that's the cause here. I would really appreciate some help—any suggestions for vitamins or similar aids would be great...

I would definitely suggest trying fish oil. Personally, my memory and focus improved significantly once I started taking it regularly. It can be a bit nauseating, but it's worth pushing through. If the taste is too much for you, try getting the capsules instead.
Anyone recommend a good chiropractor? in Health ·

Could you let us know which city you're located in?
Anyone currently on the Atkinson diet? in Health ·
That’s exactly right. If you focus solely on protein intake while cutting out all carbohydrates, you risk slipping into ketosis—which can lead to an acidic blood state and a whole host of other nasty side effects much worse than just feeling tired.
Maybe give the Zone Diet or something similar a shot, and try to get some exercise in at least two or three days a week.
Artificial sweeteners: thoughts? in Health ·
Ever wonder why our food and drinks today are practically swimming in artificial sweeteners like aspartame, saccharin, or cyclamate? It’s not by accident. Products like Nutrasweet and Natreen are heavily patented, sitting firmly under the control of massive biotech corporations. There's a growing sentiment among many people that stevia was essentially pushed off the map because powerful sugar, food, and biotech lobbies worked overtime to protect their interests and keep natural alternatives at bay.
Artificial sweeteners: thoughts? in Health ·
At a seminar held in Los Angeles earlier this April, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released some pretty startling findings regarding aspartame. This artificial sweetener—which you’ll find tucked away in everything from diet sodas and sugar-free gum to various candies, energy drinks, and weight loss supplements—is being linked to multiple sclerosis and lupus. These are devastating autoimmune conditions that are currently sweeping through the United States like an epidemic. According to the EPA's extensive analysis, once aspartame is inside the human body at our normal temperature range of 97.7 to 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit, it effectively becomes toxic, behaving much like cyanide or arsenic.

Aspartame is genetically modified, and there's clear evidence linking it to dizziness, panic attacks, memory loss, and even brain cancer...
If you're looking for a better way to swap out sugar, I'd highly recommend sticking to Stevia or Splenda instead.
