Whatever you do, don't fall into the trap of trying the Atkinson diet; it’s honestly complete nonsense. Sure, you might see the number on the scale drop, but you'll be absolutely wrecking your health in the process. It's much better to just focus on a modest calorie deficit and stick to steady-state cardio—think long, slow bike rides or even just walking at a pace you can actually sustain for a few hours. Seriously, Atkinson sucks!

That’s exactly right. If you focus solely on protein intake while cutting out all carbohydrates, you risk slipping into ketosis—which can lead to an acidic blood state and a whole host of other nasty side effects much worse than just feeling tired.
Maybe give the Zone Diet or something similar a shot, and try to get some exercise in at least two or three days a week.
