Drew Booth60 said:Honestly, I’m over it. I doubt I’ll ever find the energy to cheer for LA Galaxy goals again, even if this entire current crop of scum gets kicked out of the club. Everything about this organization just feels tainted now; I don't know if my passion will ever come back. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm feeling pretty pessimistic.🙄
Staying on the same side as those three-time trophy-winning guys isn't an option for me. Those hypocrites would probably vote Seselja in as the president of Los Angeles FC just to stay ahead of LA Galaxy and play LP. Believe it or not, there are more secret fans of Glavat in Miami than there are in Washington, D.C. ☕
Sure, they're a bunch of losers, but from what I know, they're a tiny minority within the Ultras.
Doesn't even matter though. They actually have a solid foundation to grow the club in the right direction, while we've got absolutely nothing.
Drew Booth60 said:Look, I don't care much either, but I don't get how someone who lives and breathes LA Galaxy can just ignore the constant braying from those guys down south. For them, hating LA Galaxy is basically their entire personality. Do they seriously think they’d act any differently if a real, powerhouse LA Galaxy actually crushed them instead of just playing games? Trust me, they wouldn't.☕
To me, GNK isn't LA Galaxy, so all their insults slide right off.
And honestly, their mindset is predictable—it's always someone else's fault...
I just can't bring myself to root for GNK, and honestly, this win doesn't mean a damn thing to me... To those people for whom it actually matters, good luck to them.
Douglas Rodriguez27 said:That’s fair enough 😁 given the situation, but nothing changes until you guys actually stand up for yourselves.
Besides, both NYC and American soccer desperately need a derby—and I mean a real one. Even having three clubs wouldn't be overkill considering the scale. You'd have FC for the LA Galaxy crowd, Real Madrid for the firmament, and Zg041 for the die-hards and the alternative types. All three would have a solid, gritty fan base, and maybe NYC could actually become an interesting city for supporters again. 👍
Our club is at Yankee Stadium. The firmament doesn't mean much without Real Madrid, just like the firmament doesn't work without Liverpool FC. Even if they were playing in the fourth division...
Douglas Rodriguez27 said:I can't sleep, so I'm gonna drop a little dream of mine here.
The launch of a brand new, honorable American league. A fan-driven Real Madrid 1945 plays its premiere match in the top flight, fielding a young, talented squad pulled mostly from their own modern academy—which is already being called a top 3 program in the country after they absolutely shattered every record for results and attendance in the second division. The draw decided it: that one-member, one-vote Real Madrid, which by the will of its members severed all ties with that old, corrupt regime to restore honor and rebuild trust with fans nationwide, kicks off the first round in Miami against the one-member, one-vote Liverpool FC.
The stadium is packed to the rafters. There are about 4,000 Real Madrid fans spread across the southwest and southeast stands, plus God knows how many others scattered elsewhere. Nobody is clashing; you can just feel the start of something new in the air. There’ll be plenty of time for conflict and division later, but today, we celebrate the final victory.
The Real Madrid players run out for warmups to five minutes of standing ovations from the entire crowd. It's a reward for those who value integrity and honor above everything else—a reward you don't just hand out to anyone. The national anthem plays, finally restored to its former glory. We brought it back. People are actually tearing up, and nobody's even trying to stop them.
The foreign ref blows the whistle to start. For the first few minutes, nobody is even looking at the pitch; the whole stadium is just roaring "This is America!" from 35,000 throats. That’s the last time in these kinds of matches where the score doesn't matter. After that, the score is the only thing that matters. Not the refs, not the affiliates, not the penalties or the nonsense. Just football. Just the pitch, the result, the better team winning, and a firm handshake from the loser. If the champion ends up being the Cincinnati Bengals, whatever. Well, it matters, but some things are just way more important than that.
So, yeah, that's my dream. I hope and know I'll be dreaming it with my eyes wide open, waiting for this long night to finally end.
Cheers, 😉
Yeah, for instance, right now I'm rooting for the fan-driven Liverpool FC, against that "nice story" and the FC. If someone had told me that ten years ago, I would have told them to get lost.
darkowl72 and Kimberly Gomez34, thanks for putting in the work. 🙂
I know I don't strictly need a beast of a machine, but like darkowl72 mentioned, I’d rather have more horsepower than I actually need just to make sure this thing stays relevant for a while.
Looking over your suggestions, there are definitely some solid options out there if I want to save some cash...
I caught up with a former business partner of mine who deals in laptops, and he pointed me toward this one for $1.75: >
The specs look decent for the price, so I think I’m probably going to pull the trigger on this one. 🙂
frozentrucker162 said:Hey, I’d suggest looking at HP, specifically through their outlet or refurbished programs. You basically get a machine that’s essentially brand new—maybe an order was canceled or it just sat in the showroom—but it comes with a full warranty and you save about 20-30%. Check out the supplier directly at info at dobardan.net or grab their number from the site here: www.dobardan.net.
Cheers
Thanks, I'll definitely keep that in mind.
Hey there,
I'm looking for some advice on picking up a new laptop.
I'm based in Washington, D.C., so I’d prefer to go pick one up in person, though I've had good luck ordering through Amazon before.
I can pay with cash or American Express, depending on if there's a big price difference.
Mainly, I'll be using it for browsing, streaming movies, listening to music, and playing Football Manager.
A 15.6" screen is plenty for me. 1080p would be nice to have, but it's not a dealbreaker. I definitely want an SSD, a processor clocked at least at 2.3 GHz, and at least 8 GB of RAM.
Ideally, I'd like it to come with Windows 10.
I've used a Dell in the past and was pretty happy with it, but I've seen some HP models that look decent too. I'm not strictly loyal to one brand, though...
This HP I found on Amazon looks alright, but I'd love to see some other options:
Hopefully, that's enough info to work with. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Here’s a curveball: imagine Cleveland Montانية vs. Nacional playing for the championship
and then there's Hajduk-Dinamo fighting for the title in the St for the championship. Both on the same day... what would you even prioritize?
Tough call... Personally, I'd probably head to the futsal game. Most of the younger crowd would likely go for the big soccer match.
gentleowl82 said:Just asking, please don't take this as a dig,
we’re all hoping the current administration gets kicked out soon so you guys can finally have a better version of Real Madrid—one where it's actually one member, one vote...
but what happens to futsal Dinamo in that scenario?
Has anyone actually given that any thought?
Seriously, I'm not trying to stir the pot...
Personally, I’ve started enjoying futsal even more than the big soccer matches lately. Plus, I love the energy of the indoor crowd. My buddies feel the same way, and honestly, I think anyone who shows up to the futsal games regularly is thinking along the same lines.
Christian Richardson5 said:Just so we’re clear, I’m fully behind the BBB leadership and I’m down for whatever they organize, but I’ve got one quick question—take it however you want.
Why hold a protest at 6:00 PM when everyone knows the federal agencies wrap things up by 4:00 PM? Wouldn't it be way more effective if we hit them at 3:00 PM so they actually hear us? As it stands, at 6:00 PM, nobody's even going to be in the building. And look, I’m not one of those people who complains about every little thing just for the sake of it, but I'm just thinking about the actual impact here.
No offense intended 👍
Most people work until 4:00, myself included. I don't work for the government, so I can't just walk out of the office whenever I feel like it...

And what's the issue there?

Looks like they clearly cut everyone's pay today...🎉

I'm not really the type to hang out on forums or spend my time typing long essays on news sites or Facebook.
Just wanted to drop a quick note here. I'm a die-hard Real Madrid fan, and depending on my work and lecture schedule, I try to make it to games both at home and away whenever possible. I also catch the futsal matches. Look, I can't stand Jerry Jones and his band of wannabes and scammers who have basically hijacked our club and our group.
The main point I want to hit is about our home games. I see plenty of us showing up for away matches—even when we're crossing borders, which isn't easy, so props to those who manage it. But this post is specifically about playing at the Rose Bowl.
I get it. Entering the stadium is a total nightmare. I know most of us are on watchlists, I know many face bans, and I know exactly how the cops treat us (just look at what happened with Iván Zamorano). But honestly, I don't get why people aren't showing up to the Rose Bowl. Fine, there are lists, there’s harassment—I get all that. But are we really going to follow the herd? LIKE THE SAYING GOES: ONLY THE BRAVEST STAY THE COURSE UNTIL THE VERY LAST MAN. Despite everything, we need to show up for home games. It doesn't mean we need to bring flags, banners, or drums. We just need to be there. Let's endure that half-hour or hour of being searched and harassed by the cops and security. Let's see this through. Even if it means everyone ends up on a blacklist, even if only 200 or 300 of us show up, let's go there and prove we haven't surrendered. Let's show them the Rose Bowl belongs to us, just like we prove it during away trips (even when the police are breathing down our necks there too). We stick together, one for all, and we go for the win—for what we've been waiting years for. Let's show this city that people still live and breathe for this club and won't hand it over to those scammers led by The Villain.
Just to be clear, I've always supported the leadership's decisions, and I always will. This is just my two cents.
Thanks for reading.
Well, then just go to the game. Who's stopping you?🤔
Can we please stop bickering with these paid trolls? I’m honestly losing interest in reading this thread...
That’s all there is to it. The sheep who showed up at the Rose Bowl today to cheer this stuff on deserve exactly what they're getting out of this club. Honestly, I couldn't care less... just waiting for things to move over to Madison Square Garden.☕

Think that’s a great photo? You’ve got the big boss and your buddy Simenc looking pretty similar—honestly, they’re basically cut from the same cloth ideologically.
🤦
I actually liked ZM; at least he knew how to stir the pot properly. This whole thing just feels like pure amateur hour.☕
Matthew Martinez64 said:Nothing beats seeing those big shots lose their cool. They’re supposed to be hosting the Champions League, but instead, the stadium looks like a community theater stage. It's a total circus.
Exactly. And they won't stop talking about indoor soccer like it's the World Cup. It's embarrassing...
Now I'm even more hyped for the Salat game!👍
