Anyone know where I can snag a decent globe? Looking for something with a solid map of all the countries. Maybe a reliable site that ships to the States?
Need it for a gift. If I actually track down person X, I’ll probably knock them off their feet, for sure. 🙂))

Where can I buy a poker set in Los Angeles that looks just like the one in the photo, and does anyone know the price?
Many thanks
Best regards
Not exactly a lightning-fast reply, didn't see the post until now. You can grab the exact same set at the Metro in LA for under $100—should be the same thing at the Metro in San Diego.
Thinking about picking up some travel pillows—you know, the kind to prop your head up when you're trying to sleep in a seat. Samsonite is way out of my budget. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Honestly, my whole family avoids buying clothes or shoes here in the States because prices are basically double what you pay elsewhere—even when it's the exact same brands and gear. As for groceries, Walmart isn't even that much pricier than the other big chains lately.
Quick question—did you have to get any testing done outside the hospital before they operated? If so, what kind of stuff were we talking about?
I’d also love to see some before and after shots if you’re down to share.🙂
I’ve been low-key thinking about getting liposuction for a few years now, but honestly, I’m a bit spooked—the anesthesia, the recovery pain... you name it. I’ve got that pear shape, too, and even though I’ve been hitting the gym pretty consistently, it doesn't help much. My legs are definitely firmer, but when it comes to cellulite? Working out does absolutely nothing for me. Every year before summer hits, I drop a ton of cash on aesthetician treatments, but it’s just a temporary fix. By Christmas, I'm right back where I started.
BTW, I wanted to ask how long the procedure actually took, when you were able to head home, and if there are any major risks involved?
A reliable source just told me that somewhere between 60% and 70% of all prescription drugs handed out in the US are basically just various types of Xanax,
along with things like Ativan, Klonopin, and Valium.
I'm not saying everyone is out of their minds, but it’s pretty clear proof that we’re a seriously anxious nation.

If anyone knows what's actually going on with this phenomenon, I'd love an explanation!
Thanks
This happens to me all the time. It’s this wild sensation right as I’m drifting off—kind of like I'm sinking... then I jerk, lift my head, roll over, and boom,
I'm wide awake. Every once in a while, even less often, I'll get this high-pitched ringing in my ears instead. It’s super quick, maybe just a second.
Currently reading "why man can't listen and women can't read maps." Apparently, based on some MRI brain scans and whatever else, they claim women just lack spatial awareness—can't tell left from right, period. According to them, the only women who actually know where they're going are the ones with extra testosterone (aka the hairy ones). I took the whole book as a joke, but there’s probably a grain of truth in there, just like the part about men being unable to multitask. I've got a live example right here at home.
Don't get lost. Just follow your gut or ask someone...
Hey there.
I had disc surgery about six years ago myself.
Full disclosure: I actually blew my disc at the local gym, so maybe skip the heavy lifting there for now—at least while you're still in the early stages of recovery. Backstroke is supposed to be the gold standard, but honestly? It was mind-numbing. I eventually swapped swimming for a stationary bike, which is just as boring.
I know it feels like the recovery is taking forever right now, but trust me, you’ll be back to your old self before you know it.
I'm hitting belly dancing and yoga today. Belly dancing involves a lot of sudden hip movements and jerks, but my back handles it just fine.
And yeah, carrying extra weight doesn't help the pressure on your spine, but you already know that.
Hang in there.
