The question above is pretty straightforward: "What’s your favorite shopping mall?"
Personally, I’ve always been a loyal fan of Walmart, but there’s actually a new Kroger opening up just a few days from now,
so I guess we’ll have to see how it stacks up against the competition.

The greatest shopping mall is a demolished one.

Down with consumerism!
Down with spending weekends wandering through malls!
Down with luring the mindless masses with shallow advertisements!

Long live small businesses!
Long live weekends spent in nature!

🤣🤣🤣

To be perfectly blunt—if we’re being honest here—Kroger is essentially just a discount outlet for the lower class.

Oh, fantastic. In ten years, we’re all just gonna be out of shape, spending our precious family time wandering through malls instead of actually living life.

Walmart! Look, I know they charge a bit more than the other guys, but the service is honestly on another level, and you actually have a decent selection of high-end stuff instead of just the basic cheap crap you find everywhere else...

Walmart and Bi-Lo are pretty pricey; you can find most of the same stuff at discount stores for way less. Personally, I think Aldi is alright. They have decent groceries—nothing fancy or high-end, but quality is there, and they're significantly cheaper than the other big chains.

NOOOO! They took away my Kroger! I’m seriously considering a lawsuit over this violation of my basic human rights! 🙂

I’m sticking with Walmart—even if they aren't actually local 😠

You’ve gotta be kidding me.

Seriously, what does any of this have to do with people who actually care about the environment—isn't that literally what the subheadline says?

Any mods out there?..........

I honestly think my favorite spot for finding great things is Pike Place Market right in the heart of the city, where everything feels so lively.
But if I’m looking for a proper shopping experience, nothing beats visiting the MoMA. 👍

Walmart—look, yeah, they might charge a bit more than the other guys, but the quality is actually there, and the service and general vibe when you walk in is miles ahead of somewhere like Peavey, which is an absolute disaster zone if you value competence or decent customer service. And honestly, Lidl isn't much better than Peavey in my book. In my neck of the woods, we’ve got this local chain called KTC that’s great if you're looking to save some cash, but then there’s Kroger, where you’re basically gambling on whether the meat is spoiled or the cheese is actually fresh—and let me tell you, more often than not, it's the spoiled stuff. Interspar is alright too, mostly because they actually bother to organize their shelves and make shopping somewhat convenient, even if the prices are a little steep. But at the end of the day, I usually just end up hitting up Meijer.

And my absolute favorite spot for high-end shopping has to be MoMA. 👍

Honestly, Pike Place is the gold standard—I’m actually pretty bummed I don’t live closer so I could shop there regularly. Instead, I end up hitting our local farmers' market quite a bit. Even though the produce tends to cost a little more, I still much prefer getting stuff from an actual market rather than some massive, sterile shopping mall.

Honestly, my whole family avoids buying clothes or shoes here in the States because prices are basically double what you pay elsewhere—even when it's the exact same brands and gear. As for groceries, Walmart isn't even that much pricier than the other big chains lately.

Honestly, Walmart is king—everything from the layout to the selection and even the parking lot is spot on. Kroger feels totally outdated, and you can't even talk about those other budget spots without cringing... they're just not it.
I was at one of those cheap grocery stores about a month ago and the whole place smelled absolutely foul. I had to walk out because I couldn't deal with a literal pile of tires sitting right in the middle of the aisle!!! WTF!!! It’s honestly pathetic—you’ve got bags of sugar for making moonshine sitting right next to the entrance. That’s basically what those places are for—just catering to the bottom of the barrel.

Lidl is high quality and cheap—honestly your best bet😉. We're talking about food here, not fashion or tech gear, right? haha
